“Let us begin this activity with a short prayer. (Lead or assign a student to lead the prayer.)”

2. WELCOME REMARKS
Host:
“Good day, everyone! Welcome to our Mini Performance Task in our Vocals class, titled ‘Feel
the Beat: A Rhythm and Melody Showcase.’

This is a short program where each group will perform a selected Filipino song. But before the
performance, they must identify the time signature of the song, as we focus on the topics of
rhythm and beat.”

3. STATEMENT OF OBJECTIVE
Host:
“The objective of this performance task is for the students to demonstrate their understanding of
rhythm and beat by:

1. Identifying the correct time signature of their chosen song.


2. Performing the song as a group with rhythm accuracy, coordination, and stage presence.”
4. READING OF THE RUBRICS
Host:
“Before we begin, let me read the criteria that will be used to assess the performances:”

📌 Rubric Criteria (Total: 20 points):

 Time Signature Identification – 4 pts


 Rhythm Accuracy – 4 pts
 Beat Awareness & Timing – 4 pts
 Group Coordination – 4 pts
 Stage Presence & Confidence – 4 pts
