- Introduction for the topic: Have you ever wondered whether reading books or
watching movies is more enjoyable? Today, I’d like to talk about which I prefer
and why. My presentation into three part.
BODY:
I.The first main point: Imagination and creativity
1. Books stimulate imagination.
a. When reading, we visualize characters and settings in our minds.
b. It helps develop creativity and critical thinking.
2. Movies provide a visual experience.
a. Everything is shown on the screen, so less imagination is needed.
b. While it’s entertaining, it might limit personal interpretation.
II. The second main point: Depth of Information
1. Books often have more detailed content.
a. They describe characters’ thoughts and emotions deeply.
b. They cover more background, subplots, and development.
2. Movies are usually limited by time.
a. Some parts of the original story might be removed or changed.
b. This can affect the full understanding of the story.
III. The final main point: Convenience and Accessibility
1. Watching movies is quick and relaxing.
a. You can enjoy a full story in about two hours.
b. It’s easy to watch with family and friends.
