I. Introduction

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of Coloscaoayan National High School, in
partnership with the school administration, faculty, and student body, has actively carried out a
variety of programs and activities aligned with the Department of Education’s thrust to develop
responsible, value-driven, and service-oriented learners.

This report summarizes the key accomplishments and initiatives of the SSLG for School Year
2024–2025, reflecting our commitment to student empowerment, leadership development, and
community engagement.

II. Accomplishments

1. Teachers’ Day Celebration

In recognition of the invaluable service of our educators, the SSLG led the preparation and
execution of a special program dedicated to honoring teachers. The activity featured student
performances, messages of appreciation, and the distribution of simple tokens, fostering a spirit
of gratitude and respect within the school community.

2. Fun Run for a Cause

To promote physical wellness and social responsibility, the SSLG organized a school-wide Fun
Run. The initiative not only encouraged health and fitness among learners but also served as a
fundraising effort to support selected school projects and outreach activities.
3. Christmas Program and Gift-Giving Activity
The SSLG took part in organizing the annual Christmas celebration, which included a cultural
program, games, and a gift-giving activity. This endeavor aimed to spread the message of joy,
unity, and compassion, especially to learners and families in need.

4. Valentine’s Day Celebration

In celebration of love and friendship, the SSLG facilitated various student-led activities such as
message corners, music dedications, and appreciation booths. These simple yet meaningful
gestures contributed to a positive and inclusive school environment.

5. Junior-Senior Promenade (JS Prom)

The SSLG, in coordination with the school administration, assisted in the planning and
facilitation of the JS Prom. The event provided an opportunity for learners to celebrate their
academic journey and create lasting memories with peers in a formal and respectful setting.

6. SSLG Election and Leadership Formation

In adherence to democratic principles, the SSLG facilitated a fair and transparent election
process, ensuring the active participation of the student body. Following the election, the newly
elected officers underwent an orientation and leadership formation seminar aimed at equipping
them with essential skills in governance and student leadership.

7. Tree Planting and Environmental Awareness Campaign

As part of its commitment to environmental stewardship, the SSLG spearheaded a tree planting
