4A Weekly Lesson Plan – Class 7 Mathematics (Sindh Board)

based on the Sindh Textbook Board syllabus. Each entry includes the topic, resources, SLOs,
and four activity stages (A1–A4).
Topic: Sets
Resources Textbook, whiteboard, marker, duster, real-
life objects (e.g., cups, pencils), chart papers
SLOs - Define the concept of a set with real-life
and mathematical examples.
- Represent sets using tabular (roster)
form.
- Perform set operations and solve related
problems from Exercise 1.1.
A1 Introduce the topic using real-life examples
such as a dinner set or pencil set.
A2 Explain the concept of sets, their notation,
and tabular form with examples.
A3 Guide students through solving Exercise
1.1 questions in pairs.
A4 Review learning through Q&A and assign
homework questions.
Topic: Rational Numbers
Resources Textbook, number line chart, flashcards,
markers, graph paper
SLOs - Explain what rational numbers are and
represent them in fractional form.
- Compare and order rational numbers on a
number line.
- Perform basic operations on rational
numbers.
A1 Ask students to recall fractions and relate
to rational numbers.
A2 Teach comparison and operations on
rational numbers using visual aids.
A3 Students solve numerical problems
individually and discuss solutions.
A4 Quick revision quiz and group discussion

non-terminating decimals.
