Speaker: The picture above is one of many copies of a Vincent Van Gogh painting: Sunflowers. It
is one of his most famous artworks. During 1888 - 1889 in Arles in the South of France,
Vincent painted five large canvases with sunflowers. He used three different shades of
yellow, and ‘nothing else’. With this, he showed that it was possible to create several
versions of the same picture without it losing its power.
