Layout drawing preparation. i.e., Electrical Plan, Section, EKD, DSLP layout, Earth
mat, Cable Trench, Control Building layout etc.
Preparation of engineering calculations like earthing, direct stroke lightning
protection, Sag tension, SCF, BPI cantilever strength, Conductor sizing cable
sizing, CT & VT sizing & Auxiliary battery-battery charger sizing, lighting etc.,
GIS substation overall equipment layout, Cable routing layout, grounding layout
and section etc.
Overall Layout of Electrical, Civil, HVAC, Fire Fighting & Fire Alarm, Telecom,
Security & Instrumentation works.
Lead for engineering team and work allocation to sub-ordinates.
Interface coordination with engineering office and site activities for all disciplines.
Interface coordination to ensure proper interfaces with Electrical, Civil, MEP &
Instrumentation systems.
Raise necessary design/field change request for smooth site activity and work
completion.
Preparation of specifications, Material requisition (MR) for issuing
RFI/RFQ/Tenders for procurement of materials as per project requirement.
Lead vendor/Supplier/Subcontractor meetings, technical clarification meetings
to ensure the equipment’s/Material/Work to be supplied/performed as per
project requirement.
Supporting procurement team Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) of vendor/subcontractor

Raise of necessary TQ for engineering document alignment with project requirement.
Review of engineering submittals for further submission to client.
Approvals follow up and related clarification discussion/meeting with client.
Engineering deliverables preparation, review, and submission to client to the level
of satisfactory as per project requirement.
Control and protection scheme review and modifications to suit project requirements.
Witness to FAT for major equipment’s like GIS, switchgears, transformers, Control &
Relay panels etc., as per project and IEC standard requirements.
Site data collection & verification, Site Survey.

As-built documentation review and submission to client.
Supporting Tender /Proposal team during bid stage - Engineering deliverables
like layout, SLD drawings preparation, earthing, lighting, cable sizing & BOQ

Bid stage technical documentations for tender submission.
Bid documents review and necessary pre-bid clarification preparation to
