CLEAN PLACES, HAPPY HEALTHY SPACES

In times of stress and danger such has come about as the result of an epidemic, many tragic and cruel phases of human

One of the biggest lessons that Covid-19 has taught us is the importance of cleanliness and hygiene. Despite all
technological advances, our humble soap is the mighty fighter against this disease. Cleanliness cannot be
taught; it needs to be inculcated. Delhi Public School believes in maintaining exacting cleanliness standards so
that the students learn by example. In this pursuit, we want our students to become the torchbearers in
spreading awareness about cleanliness and hygiene practices, especially in public places. Our students should
understand this colossal problem and find ways to spread awareness and mitigate it at least in their immediate
surroundings, thus contributing to society at large.

• Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat


Students of each group will research and analyse the sanitation and
hygiene conditions of the states paired by CBSE in ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha
Bharat’ Programme. According to your location (as specified below),
compare the two states between the years 2010 and 2017 and graphically
represent the same.

Each group will then script a street play based on the theme. After scripting the play, the group members
can display the final skit using any video editing app or create a story on Storyboard. The play or story
may be presented in any other creative way as decided by the group.

• Poster Campaign
To make it more interesting and eye catching, students can prepare posters like No Spitting Zone, No
Smoking Zone, Segregate Dry and Wet Waste and can place them in their balcony, notice board of the
society, windows, corridors etc. to make people aware of the regular hygiene
regime to be followed every day.

• Gifting Gratitude
Make a gift hamper for your domestic help/community helpers, using
newspaper bag and decorate it using any waste material available at home.
Fill your bag with useful items like a handmade cloth mask, sanitiser,
handkerchief, small soap, etc. Hand it over to them with a beautiful note in
Hindi expressing your gratitude for all the hard work that they put in.
• Warriors Combat!
Based on the dialogue bubbles of Covishield and Covaxin given below, design your own comic strips
adding more dialogue bubbles. You may pen a few facts related to both the vaccines.
