" I can't believe am really doing this Gelia " I signed looking at myself in the mirror, Gelia giggled
behind me as she kept curly my hair .
" Lossing up girl, don't you wanna chill a bit , besides it's gonna be fun " she said .
Gelia deceived me into promising her just because she helped me with a difficult project at my
office, now the deal is I promised to pay her back , you won't believe this girl wants me to go for a
bidding contest ...damn, I really am nervous.
Yes am 25 years old and can't really describe myself, lots of people do know i have a high
reputation and that's because of my father Alexander, infact his the best dad in the world, and my
mom, I just love her so much , I can't believe after all this year's am still clinging to her like a
statue, my brother Mark is a very annoying person, we are off and on since childhood but his
gotten some sense now his 19 and I have a sister too whom is 10 years old our last born, I love
her so much .
Signing I got up to check out my red dress , I really can't believe I'd be going for such auction, oh
jezz all thanks to this devil Gelia .
" You look so yummy, I feel like eating you Sonny " she clapped her hands .
" Gosh Gelia behave your not a kid, 24 isn't a piece of cake " I said putting my shoe on.

my honor, and girl, your going to go into that fuckin auction and get bid on, who knows, you might
get bid by a very handsome hottie" she said I rolled my eyes, she never changes .

" Thanks for the compliment babe, Shall we ? She gestured, I shook my head and we walked out
of my mansion.
Once we arrived at the action, I was so nervous, the place was so big, and oh boy it was on fire ,
different jeeps were parked, then Gelia dragged me inside .
" Oh Gelia your here, please come stay with the other girls, your numbers will be given to you
sharply" the lady said and Gelia nodded and we joined the other girls, gosh they were much .
" I seriously can't believe I have to be here Gelia ...damn, that's why when one is making a
promise he/ she needs to be careful" I said and she glared at me.
" Hay Sonny....you better don't spoil my mood, infact don't you get tired of being single, the last
time I check you hardly speak to male's gosh are you a lesbian because am confused you didn't

one of our school girls, I really felt bad because i liked him alot, but he proved me that his not
worth it, so I broke it off with him, but I don't love him, I only dated him because Daniel always
insult and calls me a saint, that guy was beginning to piss me off, no single day in highschool that
we won't fight , but I couldn't help but admire him, he really is a very handsome guy, and all girls

But it's been a year now since I've not seen him, and to be sincere we still hate each other's Gut's

" Sonya, gosh ...you zoomed out again" Gelia's voice brought me back to earth .

" Nothing" I lied she just glared at me then a woman came and started tagging our number plate
on our dress, am so nervous.

Soon, girls were called out to the stage, and the bidding started, I was really nervous, soon Gelia
went and got bid , I was so nervous, the other girls go and finally am the one , three other girls are
behind .
As I walked to the stage nervously, I couldn't help how my hands were shaking I was really
nervous, I couldn't see the audience because the light was only on me , making me try to adjust to
the white late shining on only me , damn the crowd is dark you can't even see anyone .
" Wow, what a gorgeous lady you are , " the MC said and I gave my best fake smile .
", Could you introduce yourself lady in red? He said and I nervously took the mike .
" Umm...am ..Sonya Malhotra, 25 years old, " I said and the crowd cheered, of course they know
me once they know my father .... thinking about my father , his going to kill me once he finds out
about this .
" What a short introduction but still very well let the bid begin, starting from 200,000, " the MC said
and the bid started.
" 400,000, 600,000, "
They started calling out money and I was nervous as hell, the money kept going higher .
" 1 million , 3 million , 4, 6,7,9,10......million .
My eyes widen, damn it's just for one night and they are bidding this much ?
"20, million ...21 million " another man shouted .
"22,million " another one shouted .
It kept going and I was already sweating.
"25, Million" one shouted, ok now this is crazy .
They kept going till....
"30, million dollars" someone shouted .and the crowd went wild.
" Any other bidder for lady in red who wanna go higher than that?, or 30 million dollar wins " the
MC said and the crowd was quiet.
" Okay then , lady in red sold to.....
"100, million dollars" someone shouted and the crowd went wide , my mouth hanged open.
"300, illion dollars" I gasped.
"500, million dollars" the one who shouted before said and the crowd went wild with cheering.
Everyone started looking back to discover who would gave so much for just one night, even I
myself felt like a statue, I blinked like hundred times .
" Lady in red is sold to number 26 plate " the MC said and in the crowd the guy who bought me
held the plate written 26 up as a light shined on him, everyone turned to see who bid so much.

"Thank you " I said to my secretary who nodded and left with the files.
Damn am so tired, been working non,stop just then a knock came on my door and guess who
entered, my guys damn, am finished.

"His sticking so tinging in his office this days" James said as they all walked to my desk , I rolled
.my eyes .
" What do you guys want ? I asked .
"Damn dude, we are the COBRAS is it bad to come see our fellow cobra ? Adam asked the twin
brother to james but not Identical.
Yes five of us are the COBRAS, we gave our selves that name from high school, anywhere you
see me this 4 are with me, we all came from a wealthy home and we are really famous , no one
who doesn't know the COBRAS, as a general name for us we all are business men own our own
companies and so on, we travel out together do anything together we are brothers .
" Remind me to think before talking next time " I said glaring at them.

I didn't complete before they lifted me from my seat,i wrapped my arm around their shoulder as
they picked me up .

They laughed and Adam opened my office door, as they carried me out, I kept yelling at them to
drop me but they held me taking me to the elevator, my employees were already looking, my PA
Rebecca was laughing,james winked her .
" Sugar please council any of his meetings he will be back late " James said .
" Don't you dare Racca, this is my company,i will fire you if you do" I yelled but I was joking she
laughed.
Yes she knows that's how we are .
" Don't worry honey once he fired you ...I will hire you in my company" James said .
" No you devil, she will remain my PA...you guys should put me down " I yelled at Tom and max
who still carries me .
My employees were laughing till the elevator doors closed , they took me down the road where the
car was parked .
" I don't wanna go put me down" I yelled Adam opened the car and they shoved me in, they
quickly got in too trapping me, Adam sat caging me while max sat caging me , Tom and James
were in the front seat , James is driving....

They looked at each other and I know that look, another round of carrying, they started coming
towards me.

saw us the crowd went wild, we all smirked and we were given a special seat .
I started uprating my phone since I wasn't interested in the auction, we were giving numbers and I
didn't collect but max spanked me and collected my own, I just hissed and continue with my
phone, the light went off and the auction Begin.
Girls coming out and the bid started, I wasn't looking i was only on my phone the crowd kept
Cheering I heard my friends asking each other to bid on a girl.
Then they started poking me but I still didn't look.

I was so angry already thinking of her with other man.
"Any other bidder for lady in red, who wanna go higher or 30 million wins" MC said and
everywhere was quite.
"Dan....Dan..,Dan" all my friends started calling at once .

"100, million dollars" I shouted, I didn't even know when I said it the crowd went wild.
"Yes, man hit it ..." Max said happily.

the white light shined on me and Sonya's face dropped the moment she saw it was me .
She turned to the MC and said something, but he looked at her confused.

I was so angry that I immediately turned to the MC.
" Please can they rebid ? I asked he stare at me like I've grown 20 horn's.
"Lady in red sold to number 26" he said again Making me to understand there no rebid again i was
so upset as I stare across the crowd.
I angrily walked down from the stage and walked towards him gently, he was smirking and his
friends were just loving the tension between us, when did he come back from Malaysia with his
friends? But his still looking as handsome as ever * damn Sonya you crazy girl * my mind
screamed.
" Hello my sweet Sonya? He said and i glared at him, he tries to touch me I slapped his hand
away
" Don't you dare touch me you pig" I half yelled and his friends laughed, I angrily started walking
out and he caught my wrist .
" Your mine tonight where do you think your going? He asked .
"I am not yours for any damn night , I don't either know what your aim is by getting me bid tonight "

" Marcel, bring my Range Rover sport immediately to IN and OUT restaurant" he said and hanged
up.
He called again.
" Racca I need you to book IN.and OUT restaurant completely for me this instant" he said and
hanged up.
He called again.
"Hello max, am taking the COBRAS I will return it back" he said and hanged up.
I scoffed, he so much has pride.
" Let's go" he said and pulled my hand I try to pull away .

shoved me in I cursed under my breath as he got in.
"I don't know why the hell you even bid me, you know you could get someone eals right ? I asked
eyeing him as he drove.

ass" he said concentrating on the road .

I couldn't register what happened it happened so fast and his lips were on mine kissing me hard , I
try to push him off but he held me tight and kissed me hard I refused to open my mouth he
pinched my waist I gasped from how painful it was he took that opportunity to plug his tongue
inside my mouth, my body felt on fire, this is the first time his kissing me and it felt so good, I gave
in kissing him back but when I realized I was lossing my mind I pushed him away as my breathing
was hard I used the back of my hand to wipe my mouth over and over as he laughed looking at
me .
" At least that was better having dinner with you" he smirked as he said it .
" Your such a pig don't ever kiss me again " I yelled and walked away quickly but turning back i
could hear him laughing.

Daniel's POV

I sat down in my office going through my files when my friends walked in,infact am so angry
concerning yesterday.
" Hay dude, what's up with the long face? Max asked as he sat on my front desk , Tom sat at the
other side and James and Adam sat on the chairs facing my desk .
" I think the night didn't end well" Tom said .
" What happened dude? Adam asked .
" Sonya really hates me" I said and they looked at one another.
" Since when do you care if she does? And by the way you didn't give a shit if she does or not "
James said .
" And infact right from childhood you guys always fight " Tom said .

and walked away " I said .

I couldn't stop thinking about the kiss last-night, Daniel Really caught me off guard, but I really
loved the feel of his lips on mine, it arouse a desire in me wanting more, but I reminded myself that
I hate him , his nothing but a jerk to me ,his a manwhore jumping from one woman to the other , I
suddenly feel hurt thinking about it.

Damn she was telling me about the guy who bought her last Night , she said his Eric Stons, and
his handsome and she enjoyed her date with him they even exchange numbers, but mine was a

Yesterday was really crazy after my lunch with Daniel we both had another fight again before I left
, I just don't get it but it seems we can't do without throwing insults at each other , I went home
thinking about all that we've said to each other , I couldn't sleep well last-night because he was on

My father just called me and told me I need to come home that Mr Sam Peterson asked us to
come have lunch at his house , am so nervous because Daniel will be there too, and his mother

and the idiot will come just to insult me .
After dressing up , I drove to my family house they were already getting ready to go .

I and Daniel took our ticket and went to the theatre, after we settled down we Started watching the
movie, I was really enjoying myself, and when I turned to look at Daniel I caught him staring at me,

intertwined hands and stare up at him but his eyes was on the big screen, I knew he was faking it,
I smiled and continued watching.

The days and weeks past like flash and i and Daniel grew so close than before, he always gets me
flowers every Morning, we hang out alot and of course his always giving me his time, and my

Soon I heard a sound of car she's here , soon a knock came on the door and i opened it to see

she said ,my heart broke into million pieces , she opened the door and walked out.

As I walked out of the washroom, I could hear him yelling saying he won't give up , I started

" Come in" I said still looking at my book.

and i smiled as he held his little daughter in his arms .
"What do you think we should give her ? He asked .
"Grace , I want her to bear grace , that's my real mother's name, i never got to know her , I only
heard her story , but I would love to give her grace" I said happily as tears of joy filled my eyes.
" Then it's Grace Anna Peterson" Daniel said and I smiled .
He added his mother's name too, yes his mother's full name is Rosanna, he kissed my forehead.
" Thanks for giving me this beautiful Angel " he said .
" Thank you too for putting her in me " I said smiling at him.
