EC 4042
EC 4042 is a liquid anionic formulation which in combination with coagulants will eliminate or
reduce suspended solids, colour and settling of the oily or greasy matter apart from reduction of
total suspended solids by flocculation and faster settling of the suspended matter or the sludge.
EC 4042 does not affect the ph of the water.
Typical properties : The following are typical properties for EC 4042.
Appearance: viscous liquid
pH: approx. near neutral
Specific gravity: approx. 1.05 g/cm3 to 1.20 g/cm3
Colour clear to hazy in appearance

Faster Clarification.
Applications and
dose l EC 4042 is dosed as such or by diluting from 10% to 30%
strength depending on the field conditions. The product will be
dosed with metering pump or by any dosing system available or
shock dosed in certain cases. The dosage will be decided at
sight based on the effluent water quality. Solution of soft water,
dm or ro permeate or filtered water. The specific dose level will
be specified by the technical representative and can also assist
you in determining the appropriate dose rate for your system.
Handling : EC 568 is an such is slippery in its concentrated or dilute form.
Corrosion resistant dosing equipment should be used. Examples of
suitable materials are 316 stainless steel or plastics.

Shelf life : The shelf life of the product is min. 18 months from date of
manufacturing if it is stored in its sealed original packaging
