Adding Assignments

Step Action
1. Begin by navigating to the Search Person page.

Click the Navigator menu.

2. Click the Person Management link.

3. Use the Search Person page to search for specific persons in your enterprise and
perform actions.
4. Click in the Name field.

5. Enter the desired information into the Name field. Enter a valid value e.g. "Kevin
Williams".
6. Click the Search button.

7. Click the row header.

8. Click the Actions button.

9. Click the Manage Employment list item.

10. Use the Person Management work area to perform tasks, such as managing work
relationships, payroll, compensation, checklists, and absences.
11. Use the Manage Employment page to update aspects of a worker's employment, such
as assignments, transfers, promotions, job changes, and work location changes.
12. Click the Edit button.

13. Click the Update list item.

14. Use the Update Employment window to enter an effective date, action, and action
reason for the update.
15. Click the Action list.

16. Click the Add Assignment list item.

17. Click the OK button.

18. Use the Add Assignment: Employment Information page to provide payroll and job
details of the new assignment.
19. Click in the Business Unit field.

20. Enter the desired information into the Business Unit field. Enter a valid value e.g. "GBI
HCM-Healthcare USA BU".
21. Click in the Job field.

22. Enter the desired information into the Job field. Enter a valid value e.g. "Director of
Healthcare Operations".
23. Click the Next button.

24. Use the Add Assignment: Compensation page to provide compensation details, such as
the salary basis, salary amount, and other compensation for the new assignment.
25. Click in the Salary Basis field.

26. Enter the desired information into the Salary Basis field. Enter a valid value e.g.
"Annually".
27. Click in the Salary Amount field.

28. Enter the desired information into the Salary Amount field. Enter a valid value e.g.
"120000".
29. Click the Next button.

30. Use the Add Assignment: Roles page to decide the roles for the assignment.

In this example, you retain the existing role of the assignment.


31. Click the Next button.

32. Use the Add Assignment: Review page to review the information you entered so far
before you submit the request to create the new assignment.
33. Click the Submit button.

34. Click the Yes button.

35. Click the OK button.
