The Struggle For Equality In South Africa
The Struggle for equality, Even though there were a lot of groups struggling for equality there
were similarities and differences between all the groups. Black people in south african and
african american were struggling for their equality. Because they didn t have the rights like white
people. According to martin luther king speech he said one hundred years later, the Negro still is
not free. One hundred years later, the life of the Negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of
segregation and the chains of discrimination. One hundred years later, the Negro lives on a lonely
island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. They were separated from white
people, they didn t have their freedom. They can t eat in the same restaurant where the white people
eat, they were separated from schools. They also can t get married from white women.
Discrimination was put into laws, black people were forced to do things that they didn t want to do.
If anybody went against the law or does something against the law he/she will get fines and prison
time. According to article Apartheid in South Africa A quote says The Public Safety Act and Criminal
Law Amendment Act of 1953 empowered the government to declare states of emergency with
increased stringency. Penalties were made more severe for anyone protesting against a law. These
included fines, imprisonment and whippings. Despite all this however, opposition to apartheid was
continual throughout the

Nt1310 Unit 5 Satellite Communication
1)What is crosstalk? How is it minimized in case to twisted pair of wire? a)The most common
description for crosstalk is the interference produced on a telephone device transmission circuit
channels by electromagnetic signals. b)By using a twister pair of wires the electromagnetic signals
generated by the wires cancel each other out due to their opposite polarity. 2)Why two separate
frequencies are used for uplink and downlink transmission in case of satellite communication? In this
type of communications two frequencies are used therefore the up and down links job is to separate
such frequencies and eliminate interference in order to make full duplex communications possible.
Usually the frequency carried by the downlink is lower compared to the uplink and the... Show more

This behavior causes excessive communications delays especially in WAN configurations making the
links stay most of the time in idle state. To overcome this problem sliding window protocol provides
multiple frames transmission at the same time by the sender with sequential numbered attached and
the receiver uses these numbers to place the frames in the correct order eliminating duplicate packets,
identifying missing packets and providing better transmission performance. 4)Differentiate between
the 2 switching techniques (Circuit Switching and Packet Switching). (4 differences) Circuit
switching: On this type of technique a physical path and a dedicated single connection is provided to
two end points in the network for the duration of the link. Packet switching: This network technique
groups all types of the data in sized blocks that get transmitted via a medium shared by multiple
communications sessions providing more efficiency to application in the network.
Vagina Monologue
The vagina monologue was about learning about your vagina because most girls don t know about
what is going on with their body. They interview different women and asked them questions about
their vagina like how would you dress it , What would it say and more. Some other key points were
that each person told a story of how they were raped and how they didn t want to look at their selves
after that happen to them but, also it was mainly about womanhood and informing the audience
about violence against women. The vaginamonologues is really to fight for women and protect them.
The most interesting thing I learned was when they told the story My Vagina Was My village it was
heartbreaking when I heard what happen to the women on the Bosian

Performed on a Steinway Model D Concert Grand Piano, the newest studio release from a long time
favorite musician of mine; Rick Wakeman. His newest release is at the time of this writing, charting.
Out about a month ago. Fifteen tracks, with Rick s piano playing being the only thing you ll hear
on the record. Cover songs all but one, Wakeman s Dance of the Damselflies, and a song that I can
t count as an original Wakeman composition, for the sole reason of it being credited to a dear
friend of his, Jon Anderson. That song, a Yes hit called Wonderful stories . My take has always been

He was Yes keyboard player. That is until he quit in 1974. Had not one, but three of the coolest
solo records ever, all released back to back, as popular today, as they were back then; The Six
Wives of Henry The VIII (1973), Journey To The Centre of the Earth (1974), and The Myths
Legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table (1975). And because of all the
repeated plays I gave them over the decades, I now have 50 to 100 Rick Wakeman CD s in my
music collection; studio, live, and greatest hits. Including to everything he did with Yes, and various
other musicians; David Bowie/Elton John. Just to name a couple. Throw in Black Sabbath, and Cat
Stevens. And the list goes on and on. A wonderful career ... so far.
Uncle G reviews ... Rick Wakeman Piano Portraits (2017)
Opens with a most beautiful version of The Beatles Help (1965). Two Beatles songs are included
on the album with the second one being, Eleanor Rigby (1966). Both extraordinary pop pieces, and
both given a new life by Mr. Wakeman. My guess is that Sir Paul McCartney would be very flattered
hearing either piece.
The next three tracks are Rick s spin on some of classic rock s finest
Martial Law In The Philippines
Martial law in the Philippines or Batas Militar sa Pilipinas is when the Philippine head of state
places an area under the control of the Armed Forces of the Philippines. Martial law is declared
either when there is near violent civil unrest or in cases of major natural disasters. Typically, the
imposition of martial law accompanies curfews, the suspension of civil law, civil rights, habeas
corpus, and the application or extension of military law or military justice to civilians. Civilians
defying martial law may be subjected to military tribunals (court martial). There were several
incidents when the Philippine head of state declared martial law, the most infamous is
Proclamation № 1081 which was the proclamation of Martial Law by President Ferdinand E.
Marcos. It was announced to the public on 23 September 1972, and was formally lifted on 17
January 1981. Under this declaration, civil rights were suspended and military authority in the
country was imposed. Then president Marcos defended the declaration by stressing the need for
extra powers to quell the rising wave of violence allegedly caused by communists. First, threat to
the country s security was intensifying following the re establishment of the Communist Party of
the Philippines (CPP) in 1968. Moreover, supporters of CPP s military arm, the New People s
Army, also grew in numbers in Tarlac and other parts of the country. Third, the alleged attempt on
the life of then Minister of Defense Juan Ponce Enrile gave
Black Communities During The 1960 s
During the 1960 s, there were important events, actions, and organizations that changed the black
communities lives. The 1960 s are an important time period because of the Civil Rights Movement.
During that time period, the black community s were able to vote (Voting Rights of 1965) and the
Civil Rights Act of 1968. Between 1965 and 1968, the Black Panthers Party was created. Huey
Newton and Bobby Sealecreated the Black Panther Partyin Oakland, California in 1966. The Black
Panther Party was original called, The Black Panther Party for Self Defense ; they implemented
Malcolm X philosophy of self defense because during the time The Black Panthers were created
there were high rates of police brutality towards the black community, which meant that Black
people were being killed at random with no reason. Before The Black Panther Party had a name,
Newton and Seale created the Ten Point Program, which explained what they wanted, and what they
believed in. Newton and Seale both knew that they could not present their Ten Point Program
without a name and they came up with the Black Panther Party (B.P.P). The Ten Point Program
consists of ten points which are Freedom, Full employment, an end of robbery by the white man of
the black community, decent housing, Education which teaches black history, black men to be
excepted from military service, stop the murder of black people, wanting all black men to
immediately release from all federal jails and penitentiaries, fair trail, and
Crohn s Disease Case Study
Crohn s Disease (CD)
As mentioned earlier, it is fundamental for the health practitioner to know the severity of the
disease in order to decide an appropriate treatment.1 One of the tools that are often used to assess
the severity of CD is the Crohn s Disease Activity Index. (CDAI).11 It determines the current
severity of CD based on the patients signs and symptoms of the past 7 days.11 CDAI score less than
150 is a marker of remission (no active inflammation and has no symptoms of CD) of Crohn s
disease.11 In the meantime, CDAI score more than 450 is a marker of severe Crohn s disease and
usually warrant a rapid investigations.11
The drugs used to treat CD are mostly identical as those used for UC, however, drug likes 5
aminosalicylic acid (5 ASA) are of less ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The new generation drugs may be considered to be used for the treatment of CD in case the
conventional therapy is ineffective.13 These drugs are biological agents that act more vigorously to
combat the inflammation in CD.13 They are licensed for use in Australi but are costly, and
government subsidy is only available to those who met the criteria.13 Biological agents suppress the
immune systems, therefore prior starting them, patients are required to be screened for certain
infections, and they need to take extra precautions regarding vaccinations, infections, and travel
while on this agents.13
There are currently two tumour necrosis factor alpha (TNFα) antagonist available on the PBS for
treatment of IBD: infliximab and adalimumab.1 Another biological is vedolizumab which is a gut
specific humanised monoclonal antibody that binds to and inhibits α4β7 integrin expressed on the
surface of lymphocytes preventing their binding to mucosal addressin cell adhesion molecule 1
expressed on vascular endothelial cells within the GI tract.16 Blocking this binding prevents
lymphocyte migration into intestinal tissue thus reduce inflammation.16 Lastly, the most recent
approved biological agent by PBS is
Lucky Air the Beginning
1. What are Yunna Lucky Air s best options?
Lucky Air chose to follow the model of the Southwest Airlines in the United States. Lucky Air is a
domestic airline located in China. Because it is a low cost and high efficiency airline it doubled
the amount of passengers since 2007. E commerce was a risk Luck Air decided to take on because
other airlines were now offering low cost high efficiency flights. E commerce by definition is
commercial transactions conducted electronically on the internet. This is a good way to stay in
competition with other airlines. E commerce allows airlines to cut out the middle man such as sales
agents and sales offices. Its downfall however is that because they cut out the middle man allowing
their rates to be ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This allows Lucky Airlines to emphasize on something that they do better than their competitors.
(Hill pg.387) They were also influenced by loyalty programs. There were incentives for the people
that purchased their tickets with Lucky Air. They gained loyalty points for being a frequent flyer.
While people still look to the prices, having a loyalty program that gives you points and cheaper
flights is always a plus. Another good point that they did was targeting college students. Since a
lot of college students look to travel the world Lucky Air directed its attention to its students.
Also considering its fleet which consists of a mixture of 737s and A320s. They need to look
ahead in the possibility of their fleet growing. They will need to consider and gain market
education as well as getting market shares. An LLC may be an option they are looking into. A
low cost model or a hybrid. As many airlines are transitioning it would be beneficial for them as
well. Knowing the costs of checking in, food service, as well as delays and cancellation. Another
factor to think about fuel. What the cost will be if they do expand. Since they have to pay
beforehand until they are well established that should be on the list, it all needs to be put into
consideration. The strengths of Lucky Air was its IT operations. Hainan Airlines was its parent
company and it looked to them for their It
Barn Burning Loyalty Theme
The Theme that is most commonly determined from the story Barn Burning is the loyalty of
Sartoris Snopes to his family/Father or the loyalty to the law. Throughout Barn Burning I read
about how the snopes family is viewed by the people around them. With my thought of how you
can be very loyal to your Blood but instantaneously change your mind and possibly backstab each
other, which in Barn Burning this is a questioned to be asked as if Sarty is considered
BackStabbing or doing the right thing. The phrase Blood is thicker than water is a very
questionable phrase which I have applied to help me furthermore explain about loyalty. Does this
also mean that following familyis suppose to be the road for sarty to take. If it were me I would have
had loyalty to what my family or dad was like towards me.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Within a family there should be loyalty throughout every person. For me it depends on who has
been there for me or I know. Like sarty and his family, they all are assumed to be attached to the
label that they all are worthless because of the father s actions. Depending on the relationship or the
bond I have will determine how far my loyalty goes for that family member. Being loyal to family
might be everything but like in Barn Burning being loyal to the wrong choices heavily affected Sarty
Snopes.
