Coach Communication Skills
Growing up as an athlete I have had my share of good and bad coaches. Playing different sports for
fifteen years has allowed me to meet great players that tried their shot at coaching. Though they
were amazing athletes and knew how to play the game, they had little to no success coaching. It is
often thought that people who have played sports are able to coachthem based on their knowledge of
the rules; however, there is much more to coachingthan simply being able to play the game. Coaches
have a lot of responsibilities but what separates the good coaches from the rest is his or her
communicationskills, the ability to coach the person, not just the athlete, and passion for the game.
Communication is a major aspect of any sport whether it ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The best coaches not only have a passion for the game, but they are passionate about what they
do. I had a coach that was only coaching to bring in more money, so it was obvious she was
lacking passion. The team could tell coaching did not bring her joy which caused tension to build
and people to quit. Some kids were on the team because their parents wanted them to be involved
and because the coach did not care, neither did they. The coach s attitude toward the game directly
translated to the team which ultimately caused it to fall apart. Moreover, coaches that have been
passionate have had fairly successful teams. Passion is the infectious and necessary fuel to bring
teams out of slumps, overcome setbacks, and motivate. When a coach has passion, people want to
play and it provides a positive experience for everyone.
There is a lot that goes into being a coach. Being able to communicate effectively, coach the
player, and have a passion for coaching are only a few of the many things necessary to be a good and
successful coach. Just like being good at a sport, in order to be a good coach, it takes practice. You
may not be the best coach when you first start out, but it is possible to be a good coach through hard
work and

Introduction. Police And Other Agencies Within Law...
INTRODUCTION Police and other agencies within law enforcement receive multiple calls for
service daily. They enter a world of the unknown while being required to serve and protect the
general public fairly, without bias toward race, religion, gender, or political affiliation. They are
confronted with serious crimes that they must deal with at any given moment, on any given day.
Law enforcement officers may receive a call for service to handle a domestic dispute where weapons
are involved, respond to call where a pet was tossed in traffic from an overpass, and become
involved in a [shots fired officer down] policerun, all during an eight hour day. Police and other law
enforcement agencies must always be prepared for the unknown... Show more content on

Since there was little information about the day to day administration of justice, topics that were
requested in the survey included reasons for neglecting to report crimes, the discretion given to
police not to make an arrest, and the discretion given to prosecutors to decide if they would
prosecute or not (Walker, 1992). According to research by Beckett (2016), police discretion
became an inevitability by the 1960s, as a result of the design and implementation of an
observational study by the American Bar Foundation (ABF) that focused much more on law in
action than on the law on the books (p. 78). The results showed that discretion was not an
individual choice to deviate from the norm; but a practice among several criminal justice officials,
including the police, to exercise the use of discretion at several levels of criminal justice (Beckett,
2016). The term Discretion in its purest definition can simply imply to have a choice in judgement.
The use of discretion in policing allows a considerable amount of freedom to be used within
departmental guidelines, referred to as controlled discretion (Gottfredson Gottfredson, 1988). Police
essentially have more discretionary power, regarding the liberty of offenders, than
Goblin Market, The Bridegroom, And The Robber Bridegrom
Come buy, come buy, the darkness calls out to the ladies out in the night. Authors such as Pushkin,
Grimm, and Rossetti, take the common concept of abuse and seduction of women by men and
transform their ideas into folklore. Within the journeys created by the authors, all portray different
maidens yet they support these women with the beastly, dirty, characters of men. Whether it is
goblin men with deadly fruits, or cannibals with knives, women are the true victims in The Goblin
Market by Christina Rossetti, The Bridegroom by Pushkin, and The Robber Bridegroom by
Grimm. In the media, women have been portrayed with many qualities, one of which being
cunningness. In the Goblin Market, older sister Lizzie uses all of her might to defend and save her
sister Laura. Young, inquisitive Laura ventured down toward the glen in the deep, dark wood and
was seduced by the Goblin men. The ripe, plump, juicy fruits of the Goblins caused an immediate
addiction for... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It was up to her sister Lizzie to save her, and she refused to eat the fruit of the goblin men, even as
they raped and molested her. This strength and dedication is evident when Rossetti says though
the goblins cuff d and caught her coax d and fought her, bullied and besought her, scratched her
black as ink, kick d and knock d her, maul d and mock d her, Lizzie utter d not a word; would not
open lip from lip. Another example of an elder lady helping a younger through sheer cunningness, is
evident in The Robber Bridegroom. The elderly woman warns the miller s daughter to not venture
close to her bridegroom s house due to the belief that he is a
Roadmap to RtI Pre-K Essay
RtI is a framework, not a program. It is a process that involves instruction, assessment, and
intervention. This tool is utilized by educators to increase the likelihood that the students can be
successful and maintain their class placement by early recognition and deliver appropriate
instructional interventions. With this tool teachers can address the needs using research based
learning. All of the students progress is assessed early and often. A common concern shared by the
parents and teachers is how to help the student who experience difficulty learning in school. A goal
shared by the parents and teachers is seeing that the student excels. There are important terms to
know for RtI. Response is reacting to a question, experience, or... Show more content on

The use of RtI as a systematic process for screening, intervening and monitoring while not mandated
by federal law is what was intended under IDEA to determine a child s response to scientific,
research based intervention. Multistep approach RtI has a multistep approach broken down into
three tiers. According to the text, this is where all students are initially screened to determine their
progress in achieving established literacy benchmark skills, objectives, and standards. In tier 1
(Classroom Intervention), it represents the regular classroom and the normal instruction process.
This provides all children with research based curriculum and instructional methods to reach the
desired educational outcomes. The emphasis is on good instruction and assessment to ensure that a
majority of children receive good instruction. In tier 2 (Supplementary Intervention), it represents
students having difficulty and is intended to fill in learning gaps. The intervention and measurement
should be tailored to the individual child. In tier 3 (Intensive Instruction), it represents students who
fall behind significantly and require additional time during the school day for remediation. Students
will continually be assessed to determine if gaps have closed and if they can be moved back
Examples Of Superego In Breaking Bad
Breaking Bad is a television show about a chemistry teacher, Walter White, who gets diagnosed with
stage three lung cancer. To make sure he can support his family, Walter teams up with an old student,
Jesse Pinkman, to create methamphetamine. With Walter s chemical experience, Walter creates the
purest meth, which causes his substance to be desired and envied. The id, ego, and superego are
seen throughout many characters in Breaking Bad. Out of the many characters, there are three that
best represent the three theories of Freud s id, ego, and superego. Hank Schrader represents the id,
Walter White is the superego, and Jesse Pinkman as the ego. All three characters contain an id, ego,
and superego, but they have specific elements that stand out more than the others.... Show more

Hank is not self sufficient and is always joking about matters, even whenever he should not be. Hank
often talks without taking in consideration other characters feelings which is just his id instincts.
Hank demands immediate satisfaction, especially from his wife, Maria, and often gets aggressive
whenever she does not meet his wants. As the id states, Hank s playfulness consists of constant
jokes, his aggression comes out when he does not get what he wants, and he brings out the child in
the other characters.
Walter White is an emotionally unstable genius chemist. He is extremely conscious about his
work and treats his drug business as if it were an acceptable career. Walter gets extremely fond of
his career due to the wealth and power he gains with the occupation. Once Walter gains the
experience, he begins to think he does not need Jesse as a partner and only agrees to do things if
they are done his way. Due to having too much superego, Walt begins to be inflexible which causes
many disputes and leads to his separation from his
Concrete Garage System
Of the different rooms in your home, your garage is unique. It s a room yet it is also exposed to the
outside elements. It doesn t benefit as well from the heating and air conditioning as the other rooms
of the house. Thus its floor gets exposed to the temperature extremes of summer and winter. Its floor
must support two ton cars which can drip oil, grease, antifreeze, brake fluid, transmission fluid, and
road salt (during the winter).

A concrete garage floor is no stranger to gasoline spills when unsteady hands fuel up lawn mowers
and snow blowers. While you wouldn t think of treating the floors of your other rooms this way, you
might think that concrete garage floors are tough and can handle it. Yet the truth is that bare
concrete has its ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, salt doesn t really prevent freezing. It simply drops the freezing point of water to a lower
temperature. When the temperature drops low enough, the water will freeze and your garage floor
will undergo freeze/thaw damage like before but at a lower temperature range.

An important problem with salt is that it attracts more water into the pores of the concrete (it s
hygroscopic). This extra water causes more expansion damage when the water freezes. Therefore,
you should keep salt out of your garage by avoiding its use on your driveway. However, there is no
getting around the fact that your car will drip road salt on your garage floor.

Moisture problems aren t limited to the winter. On hot and humid summer days, the relatively cool
garage floor temperature can cause moisture to condense out of the air. This moisture then wicks
into the concrete pores. Any residual salt from the winter will increase this moisture absorption.
Chronic moisture in warm temperatures can lead to mold growth, which may cause health
problems. Mold only requires a good growing temperature, plenty of moisture, and food. The
optimum temperature range for their growth is 70 90 degrees and they can feed off most organic
particles trapped inside concrete pores.
The The Souls Of White Folks
India was under imperialistic rule by the British Empire or the Bristish Raj from 1858 to
1947.The region under British control commonly called India in the British period included
areas directly administered by the United Kingdom as well as the princely states ruled by
individual rulers under the paramount of the British throne. In my recent visit to London
precious jewels and Indian made goods are displaced in Windsor castle under high security. Most
of the goods accumulated from India were under Queen Victoria s reign; the other monarchs who
were reigning during this imperialistic time were Edward VII, George V, Edward VIII, and
George VI. W.E.B Dubois writes in the Souls of White Folks, We see Europe s greatest sin
precisely where we found Africa s and Asia s, in human hatred, the despising of men; with this
difference, however: Europe has the awful lesson of the past before her, has the splendid results of
widened areas of tolerance, sympathy, and love among men, and she faces a greater, an infinitely
greater, world of men than any preceding civilization ever faced. England took advantage of its
darker counterparts by showing superiority through color, religion, and technological advances. In
the Photograph Album of Cashmere Ladakh,1886, H.W.B depicts the age of imperialism through his
photography of the 1st Batallion East Surrey Regiment of Great Britain. The photos allow one to
make observations without any biased inputs such as writings. Using one s own
Case Brief Of Sony Computer Entertainment America V Bleem
Case Brief of Sony Computer Entertainment America, Inc., v. Bleem, LLC et al. (2000)
Case Citation
Sony Computer Entertainment America, Inc., v. Bleem, LLC, David Herpol Sheimer, and James
Felix, 214 F.3d 1022 (9th Cir. 2000)
Facts
The appellant is a manufacturer of console games in the form of game disks and Sony Play
Station. To play the console games, one has to load a game disk into a console or play station
which has a connection to the television of the user. On the other hand, to play the PC games, one
loads a game disk into the CD drive contained in a personal computer. However, Sony has
engineered its play station game disks in such a way that it is not possible to play them on the
Personal computer but only on a TV. With a lucrative and enormous market for video games, Sony
inc. has managed to be the market leader with this unique technology (Sony Computer Entertainment
America, Inc., v. Bleem, LLC et al. (2000)).
Despite this, the defendants managed to develop a product named a software emulator which makes
it possible for one to interchange the PC games and the TV console games. Hence, once one has
bought the software emulator from Bleem, they can easily use their personal computer to play a
Sony PlayStation. Thus, as a result of this, one who wishes to play or enjoy the Sony games need
not purchase a PlayStation console from Sony. Further, with the software emulator, one enjoys
games with a higher quality picture resolution because a PC has the capability of
Sons Of Liberty Research Paper
Property must be secured, or liberty cannot exist John Adams. The sons of liberty were a organized
political group created in the Thirteen American Colonies. They were Fanatics. This is because they
enticed violence, vandalized houses and did many more wrong things.
Something that the sons of Liberty thought was a good idea, was to tar and feather someone of
wrongdoing. This is basically where liquid tar was poured down the bare back of a victim. After
this happened, they would throw feathers onto the person so that they stuck to the tar. Then the
victim was paraded around publicly. This was supposed to be a form of punishment, but it was
actually a cruel idea.
Another thing they did was create the stamp act. The Sons of Liberty refused
