The Truman Doctrine By George C. Marshall
Additionally, with The Marshall Plan it is similar to The Truman Doctrine, except it is supposed
to help Europe financially and economically, instead of Greece and Turkey. George C. Marshall
was concerned that economic instability in Europe would lead to the triumph of communism.

in the United States was doing well and the businesses were sympathetic to a program of assistance
that might create added markets overseas. (Winkler, pg. 21). This can help distribute influence

Using Software Tools And Techniques
I.INTRODUCTION In general, we people often make decisions based on suggestions from our
friends, family members or even from the people who have better knowledge and experience
with the things that we want to make decision on. And moreover, in the today s world, things that
we want to buy or make decision on, are coming with a vast number of alternative solutions which
is throwing us into the difficulty to make a decision. For example, when we want to buy a
television for the first time, it will be very difficult for us to choose the right one from the list
with a large number of alternative solutions ranging from different makers to different models
from a maker. Because of this confusion, we will consult people who have better experience and
knowledge on these things and ask for their valuable suggestions or recommendations that will help
us in making decision. This type of suggestions and recommendations can also be provided by
using software tools and techniques which are termed as Recommender Systems or
Recommendation Systems (RSs). A recommender system, often recommends or suggests the items
which may be kind of useful to the user. And these recommender systems are mainly employed by
the e commerce industries who sells millions of items to the people through internet. Here, these
RSs are employed to suggest or recommend items (which may be of useful) to the users based on
their past purchases and also at the same time to increase their sales. Today s cyberspace has
Summary Of The House Of The Spirits
After Blanca, who has harbored Pedro Tercero in the house for months, asks her father to help
Pedro Tercero flee the country, Esteban agrees and goes to retrieve him from his cell like
surroundings. This dialogue comes from that scene, and it mirrors the conversation between
Esteban and Pedro when Pedro Tercero frees Esteban from the workers at Tres Marías. In both
situations, one man is imprisoned and the other rescues him at Blanca s request. However, when
Pedro Tercero retrieved Esteban, Esteban was furious, and his line go to hell was uttered from a
place of anger and loathing. Now, miraculously, the two are able to smile when recalling their old,
destructive relationship, marred even by a murder attempt. This scene brings the connection of the
two men, which revolved around Blanca and their differing political ideologies, to a state without
rage or hate. A pivotal moment in Esteban s development, the exchange marks an end to the cycle
of Esteban s fury and hatred of Pedro Tercero. Similarly, in the epilogue, Alba explains that it is her
mission to end the cycle of hatred and revenge that has plagued the Trueba family. The latter part of
The House of the Spirits centers around enmity and violence. In the midst of this devastation,
however, the conclusion of the animosity between Esteban and Pedro Tercero and Alba s refusal to
enter the cycle of revenge stand as instances that warrant hopefulness for the future. If even Esteban s
legendary rage can fade with time, then

Romanticism Was The Period Of The Literary Movement Of...
1783 1830 was the period of the literary movement of Romanticism which was originated in Europe
(wiki). The Romantic Movement was partly aroused as a reaction from the Industrial Revolution.
Romanticism appeared as a movement which aimed to reject many subjects such as spirits, souls,
and instincts from the previous Enlightenment movement and discuss subjects associated with
liberalism, radicalism, and nationalism (Nichols, A., 2005). This movement emphasizes on the
sources of aesthetic experience, emotions, beauty and sublimity of nature. One of the most obvious
principles in this literary movement is the freedom of the poets to express themselves and their
feelings. It was considered that in order for poets to express their true feelings, they have to be
creative, imaginative and isolated. And the second obvious principle in this literary movement was
the principle of genius, which means creation from nothingness, and that was the key of this
movement (Waterhouse, 1926; Smith, 1924).

In that period, poets seemed to be using ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This stanza gives the reader a vibe of seriousness and sorrow because it asks questions about the
significance of the interchange between nature and human mind ( Romanticism , 2010). Shelley
brings forth the central problem in this stanza about the equality of the creation with the mind of
human being. In these lines, Shelley believes that he was caught in nature with its terrifying giant
wonders; then he personifies the big mountain and he also indicates that the mountain is too big to
understand. Moreover, Shelley used more than forth of the poem to view the main problems about
understanding nature of the power of the everlasting universe of things by using metaphor as in the
case of the word River . And what meant by it that by the time passing by the river can t cut through

Solubility Lab
Solubility Lab Report The purpose of this lab was to demonstrate the solubility of compounds
created through reactions between certain dissolved substances. The solubility or insolubility of
these compounds creates a visual demonstration of solubility rules. To obtain the data, the molar
mass of each compound was calculated, and divided by 100 to determine the mass (in grams)
needed. The compounds used in the lab include KNO3, Na2CO3, NH4Cl, NaOH, Pb(NO3)2,
K2CrO4, AgNO3, CoCl2, Ba(NO3)2, CuSO4, and NaI. Filter paper was placed on a scale and
tared, and the correct amount of salt was measured using a scoopula. The salts were then poured
into beakers and combined with 200mL of water to create solutions. A table was created to record
the results of each combination of substances.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Compounds containing ammonium ions (NH4+) are also soluble, as are ions from the Alkali metal
family (such as K+ and Na+). The tendency of reactions with the AgNO3 solution to produce white
or milky precipitates leads to the conclusion that compounds containing silver ions (Ag+) are
insoluble, with the exception of AgNO3. Hydroxide (OH ) compounds also seem to be insoluble
unless they contain an Alkali metal or ammonium, as reactions which produce an Alkali hydroxide
(or NH4OH) did not produce precipitates. Similarly, salts containing carbonate (CO3 2) seem to be
insoluble unless they contain an Alkali metal or ammonium. Chromate salts seem to be highly
insoluble unless they contain potassium or ammonium, as nearly every combination that included
K2CrO4 produced a precipitate. Compounds containing halogen ions such as chloride (Cl ) and
iodide (I ) are also generally soluble. Finally, compounds containing sulfate (SO4 2) are soluble with
a few exceptions, as Ag2SO4, PbSO4, and BaSO4 were all
My Favorite Hymn is In Christ Alone
My favorite hymn is In Christ Alone. By most standards it is a modern hymn. While many Christian
hymns date back to the early church, the two songwriters of In Christ Alone began work in 2000
and completed their work two years later. Although it lacks historical prestige, this hymn s grandeur,
strong lyrics and musical melody elevate it to a status often only given the ancient songs. In Christ
alone is undoubtedly a very influential hymn to many in my generation. So, because of its personal
impact on my life I have chosen to name it my favorite hymn. In the autumn of 2000, songwriter
Keith Getty(Irish) and musician Stuart Townend (English) met at a worship event in England. The
two soon became good friends and began to write traditional hymns together. Their work includes
How Deep the Father s Love, My First Love, and The King of Love. However their most famous
hymn by far is In Christ Alone. The hymn s writer Stuart Townend wanted to express the theme of
the life, death and resurrection of Christ and His ultimate sufficiency (Townend). Once released, In
Christ Alone did just that, gaining immediate popularity among traditional Christian music purists as
well as fans of more contemporary Christian music. In 2003, a contemporary Christian group, The
Newsboys, released a version of In Christ Alone in their album Adoration: The Worship Album that
topped the Christian Music charts in the United States. Christian groups Phillips, Craig, and Dean,

A Narrative Essay About Joining The Navy
I have always had a fascination with the ocean. I recall standing on the Jersey Shore, watching the
waves crash upon the coast with a transfixed gaze, in awe of the indomitable blue expanse that
humans could only dream to subjugate. This view remained steadfast in my mind until May 2003,
where I first observed that which could indeed dominate the waves; the ships of the United States
Navy. It was during this time that I attended Fleet Week for the first time in New York, and I was
completely enthralled. The ships before me were marvels, destroying my belief regarding the
unyielding ocean; these ships conquered the sea regularly. They radiated power, respect, and esteem.
The sailors that maintained and ran the ship beamed professionalism, honor, and... Show more

I soon found I could become a leader of sailors, and although a more difficult path than enlistment,
this newfound route appealed to me. A presentation from an alumni of my high school and the
Naval Academy introduced me to the institution, and every word he said resonated within me,
bringing me back to my viewing of the ships and the sailors for the first time. I left that
presentation with a goal that I have not stopped working towards; to become a midshipman and
subsequently an officer in the United States Navy. As one of the most respected schools in the
world, the Naval Academy would most certainly help me achieve my goals. For the short term, I
desire to work with the propulsion systems of nuclear submarines, and no other university on the
planet could give me the training and know how on this matter like the Naval Academy. For the
long term, I desire to become a JAG Officer. The reputation and academic esteem of the Naval
Academy would allow me to attend the best law school possible, which in turn would allow me to
serve my branch and my nation at a higher level than I otherwise would be able

How Hemingway uses style and language to reflect the ideas and themes in A Farewell to Arms.

There are plenty of novels about World War I, most of them are about the cruel life in the trenches,
the physical stress and the awful numbers of deaths during the battle. As a reader you think that you
have seen it all, but then this book comes along. A Farewell to Arms is a novel written by Ernest
Hemingway, which presents the love story between Lieutenant Fredrick Henry and Catherine Barkle
during the cruel events of World War I. There are many things that differentiate this novel from
others. The point that attracted my attention the most was the writing style. When the reader starts ...

Another writing technique that Hemingway often uses is dialogue. Many of the dialogues have
short questions and answers, and aren t always very interesting to read. Something that Henry does
in his dialogues is make the way in which the characters speak, more interesting than what they
actually say. Hemingway is also showing a bit of himself in this part of the novel.

Ernest Hemingway was a author, journalist and he has won a Nobel prize for his literary work. He
is one of the most important and meaningful writers who has ever lived. Hemingway s style is
very soft about the war. He has experienced the war from the front lines and he gave his book a
very romantic story line. The descriptions of the battles were written very beautiful and do not
show the truth of the hard life in trenches and the thousands of men who have died. He makes the
story more beautiful than it really is. Hemingway was a very simple man and so was his writing.
His writing style is known for his simplicity, easy sentence structure and he does not use any
difficult words in his work. You can find this back in this novel.

The writing style used in A Farewell to Arms helps the reader to understand the ideas of the main
character and the emotions and moods the main character is experiencing. First of all,

Jackie Robinson
Back in the 1940s, when African Americans faced discrimination and racism in baseball and
everywhere else, there was man who took a stand and proved that he could play ball, no matter
the color of his skin. This man s name was none other than, Jackie Robinson. Jackie Robinson was
a great leader and civil right activist who just wanted to play baseball. In a quote by Robinson
saying, I m not concerned with your liking or disliking me... All I ask is that you respect me as a
human being , he means that he is only a human too, and that he should not be treated poorly or
disrespected based on the color of his skin.
Jackie Roosevelt Robinson was born on January 13, 1919, in Cairo Georgia. He had four old
siblings, Edgar, Frank, Matthew, and Willa Mae. His mother s name was Mallie McGriff and his
father s name was Jerry Robinson. Jackie had a rough childhood. Being raised by a single mother
and being a relatively poor family, things were not always easy for the Robinson family. But when
Jackie was old enough to attend high school, he joined the John Muir Technical High School in Los
Angeles California. After high
The Rights Of Indigenous People
In 2008 Grassy Narrows came in the form of a 1,800 kilometer walk to Queens Park in Toronto
where they had a Sovereignty Sleepover with other First Nations groups seeking to safeguard their
lands from industrial exploitation. The UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples
formally recognizes the right to give or withhold consent for industrial projects on traditional lands.
The three communities have declared halts on industrial activity occurring without their consent, but
the Province has refused to respect them and continues to issue industrial permits for logging and
mining projects that the communities assert are damaging to the health, culture, and future of their
people. They demanded that the UN address the Canadian... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Questions On Correct Billing And Coding
In order to be a better or more knowledgeable about correct billing and coding, the coder must first
be aware of the impact of the issues that can occur in a claims process when incorrect information is
documented or coded about the patient.
The main possible impacts of incorrect information in a claim are: rejected claims, down coding of
the bill by the insurance company, loss of payment to the physician and additional audits.
During a patient visit, all that is done for the patient must be transcribed into the correct codes.
Along with these codes, there must be sufficient supporting information documented in the patient
record. When the supporting evidence is not there, that line will either be down coded or the
billing being rejected. A rejected bill requires more time and effort by the physician s staff to
correct the issue and resubmit it. Billing with the correct primary, sub and supporting codes will
prevent the extra work and possible loss of money. This is not just an ethical and financial need to
do so, but a legal responsibility. In many cases, the coder is held responsible for incorrect or
erroneous billing.

Correct and Clean Coding Other than the ethical issues of coding, the best methodology to follow is
to code by these three coding guidelines. a) First, code the primary diagnosis, condition or reason for
the visit followed by the co existing, current circumstances. b) Next, with the supporting evidence,
code to the highest level you are most
Gas Exchange Or External Respiration
Gas exchange or external respiration is where we get oxygen from the air into the blood and
remove waste carbon dioxide from the blood into the air. Gas exchange happens in the lungs
between the alveoli (air sacs) and a network of tiny blood vessels called capillaries. The capillaries
are located in the moist thin walls of the alveoli. The alveoli give the lungs a really big surface area
for diffusion to take place. There are millions of alveoli in the lungs. When inhalation occurs oxygen
is taken in through the mouth and nose flowing along the trachea and bronchial tubes to the alveoli
of the lungs. The breathed in air, which is now rich with oxygen comes into contact with the bloodin
the capillary network surrounding the alveoli, which
Dog Park Community
Not everyone dislikes dogs, i personaly love dogs. Therefore considering a dog park should be
build within apartment complex does burden taxpayers. Not only that, those who dont like much
noise arent to fond of the idea of a dog park period. Living in the city it shouldnt be a big idea to take
the animal that one cares for, for a stroll in the park anytime. A dogpark isnt much needed like we
think.

Any project done for the community, we the people pay for with our taxes just for us to have. If
the community were to build a dog park it would cost $70,000, just for fencing. It isnt fair to those
who arent able to have pets or doesnt have the funds like everyone else. As a community we have to
respect what others have and dont have. Those who dont have the space to provide, said before pet
owners should take the responsibility of their own. Residents shouldnt be disturbed and taxpayers
shounldnt have to stress. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Thats why most people try to live in quiet suburban areas. The communities comfortability matters

Yes, a dogs bark can reach a noise level of irritation and stress. If you know your dog isnt the best
of adjusting to his surroundings and want to get her/him out more, do so by any means. Those that
complain of their pets not having the ability to exercise and having bad behavior can change that. A

A public park is perfect place for a dog. Dogs will adjust to their surroundings, such as a place for
