SMC Day Trader Checklist (London & NY Sessions)

1. Daily Bias

[ ] Is the higher time frame bias clear? (4H / Daily)

[ ] Are we in a premium (sell) or discount (buy) zone?

[ ] Is price nearing a major liquidity pool (equal highs/lows)?

2. Session Prep (London / NY)

[ ] Have I marked key session highs and lows?

[ ] Am I avoiding high-impact news events like NFP or FOMC?

[ ] Have I marked buy-side and sell-side liquidity zones?

3. POI Identification

[ ] Have I identified a clean Order Block, Fair Value Gap, or Breaker?

[ ] Is it in the correct location (premium for sells, discount for buys)?

4. Liquidity Sweep

[ ] Did price sweep a key liquidity zone?

[ ] Was it followed by a strong rejection wick or engulfing candle?

5. Confirmation

[ ] Did we get a Break of Structure (BOS) in the desired direction?

[ ] Is there a clean retracement into a smaller POI (1M-5M)?

[ ] Can I set a tight stop (above the sweep) and smart TP?

6. Execution

[ ] Risk per trade = 1% or less

[ ] SL is protected above/below the liquidity sweep

[ ] Entry is at retest or confirmation - not impulsive

[ ] RRR is at least 1:2 or 1:3

7. After Trade

[ ] Did I journal this trade (win or lose)?

[ ] Screenshot before/after with notes
