James C. Wilhoit, Spiritual Formation as it the Church Matters (Grand Rapids, MI: Baker
Academics, 2008).
INTRODUCTION
Dallas Willard wrote in the foreword of this book, James Wilhoit has written a book of special
urgency for our times.(9) In this writer s opinion, that was an understatement. Some books you
read for school, after the first 20 to 30 pages, you can truly tell that you are not going to like the
book. You proceed to speed reading it just to grab the nuggets and move on to the next book or you

Wilhoit, while teaching and having dialogue with his students pertaining to their spirituality
formative influences which lead to conducting interviews with a number of church leaders, he
realized, through these stories and interviews there has been a sea of change in our formational
structures and their effects will take a generation to fully manifest themselves.(13) This establishes
the basis for writing this book, to make a call to intentionality about our formation and to repentance
about how we have tried to engineer formation more than we have prayerfully opened our lives and
our churches to God s grace(14) . The book consist of ten chapters, which can be broken down into
two parts the establishment of the foundational structure of spiritual formation, chapters 1 2, and the
four pillars that support spiritual formation, in which he calls the four R s Receiving,
Remembering, Responding and Relating, chapters 3 10. Wilhoit then further breaks these four
pillars into two parts. Part A describes and explains the foundation of the R ; Part B then expounds
on how to foster the pillar into the life of the individual and the church. He then moves on to the
next pillar. Throughout the book the reader will find 12, what Wilhoit call, Community Spiritual

The Tuskegee Airmen
The Tuskegee airmen, also known as the Red tails, were the first group of African Americans pilots
in the United States Military. These brave men fought throughout World War II and became
trailblazers for many aspiring black individuals. The Tuskegee airmen played a crucial role in
defending the nation in World War II, which occurred between September 1, 1939 to September 2,
1945. The men who took part in this historical event became the first steps to the integration of the

As the war went on, many individuals were inspired by the 99th squadron and decided to join
themselves, Consequently this led to the formation of the 332nd fighter group which consisted of
the 99th, 100th, 301st, and 302d Fighter Squadrons. These four squadrons were the only groups of
African Americans to enter combat in World War II .By the end of war 996 pilots and more than
15,000 ground personnel who served with the all black units [to] be credited with some 15,500

Conclusion, the Tuskegee Airmen faced several obstacles to become who they are. In the detrimental
time frame in American history when racism and segregation existed, it took the brave men to step
up and fight for equality in the military and the United States. The Tuskegee Airmen went through
many trials and tribulations to open the path to many more African Americans to not only become
pilots, but to strive for things that may seem impossible and make a
Gerald Ford s President Of The United States

Research Paper
Gerald Ford
What makes a great president? Being the President of the United States is one of the most difficult
positions to be in. And throughout history there has been presidents who faced crisis and made
society a better place, and then there were some who did not live up to their greatest opportunities.
Gerald R. Ford was the 38th President of the United States of America and was considered below
average in all aspects of his presidency including relations with foreign affairs, the economy and
social/political cases in our country. In fact, according to scores based on Fields of History, Law and
Politics, he was ranked as below average. This proves that he was not worthy compared to the levels
of presidents before his time. For the case of discussing Gerald Ford, one of the most important
events of his time as president is how he became one. After going into Republican politics at law
school, he served in the House of Representatives for decades being re elected twelve times. Even
though he has never achieved his main goal of becoming speaker of the House, he was still
supported by many, even including President Richard Nixon. In 1973, Spiro Agnew resigned the
office of Vice President of the United States. When there was no Vice President left, after pleading
no contest to a change of income tax evasion, President Richard Nixon was empowered by the 25th
Amendment to appoint a new Vice President (Library 2). To explain,
Electronic Medical Records
Computer Based Medical Records Abstract In the medical field there have been a lot of
technological advances and making health records electronic is one of them. The days of having a
paper health record are almost obsolete. An electronic health record keeps a patient s medical
information and history on a computer which is accessible to more people in less time. I will
explain how the continuity, communication, coordination and accountability of the electronic health
record can help the medical office. I will explain what can be included in the electronic health
record. As an advocate of the electronic health record I will also explain some disadvantages to the
electronic system. Computer Based Medical Records Electronic... Show more content on

All the patients files should be backed up at least on a weekly basis to ensure that none of the
information is lost. (HIPAA, 2011) Another way for accountability of the electronic health record
is to have each person in the office has a key card or password to access the system. This will
allow for the physician to check back and see if anyone is releasing information or making
changes that are not authorized. This also allows for physicians to find out who made changes to
a patients record if information is inaccurate. (HIPAA, 2011) Electronic Health Records will
include the same information as the paper record. This includes basic patient information such as
demographics, medical history, medications, allergies, laboratory results, radiology images, and
billing information. (2006) Each individual doctor can specialize their system and what they want
it to include. They can add different components to the electronic health record that are important
to them and needed in their practice. (2006) Even though I am an advocate for the electronic
health record there are drawbacks to the system. Each individual physician will have to determine
if the drawbacks are worth the advantages of the system. One of the drawbacks to the system is
privacy. Privacy will always be a big factor. Some patients may not like the idea of having their
medical information easily accessible by almost anybody. (The HWN Team, 2009) Electronic health

Fiscal Policy And Trade Openness On Unemployment Essay
AHMED SALIM NUHU On The Impact of Fiscal Policy and Trade Openness on Unemployment in
Namibia 1.Introduction Unemployment remains a fundamental challenge for policy makers around
the globe as it simultaneously increases poverty and threatens social stability within a country
(Goker, 2013). Even though the literature recognizes the critical role fiscal policy plays in mitigating
unemployment and stabilizing the economy (Auerbach, Gale, and Harris, 2010), the extent to which
it works effectively to achieve this remains an issue of debate amongst economists (Coate and
Battaglini, 2011). However, the massive use of fiscal policy tools by governments in the wake of the
2008 financial crisis has, ignited a renewed interest in examining the role of fiscal policy in
promoting growth and employment (Feldstein, 2009). A cursory survey at the literature however,
reveals a lack of consensus on the fiscal policy unemployment debate. For example, using a dynamic
stochastic general equilibrium model with search and matching frictions, Gomes (2010) found
mixed responses of unemployment to different fiscal shocks. Bruckner and Pappa (2012) found that
an increase in government consumption expenditure usually causes higher unemployment whilst
Fatas and Mihov (2001) in their study of the United States economy and more recently, Unal, (2015)
in his study of the Netherlands economy and, found that higher government consumption was an
incentive for increases in employment. These heterogeneous
Public Administration And The Public Sector
Old Public Administration was created to answer the questions to many unanswered problems.
President Woodrow Wilson said it was harder to run a constitution than to frame it because of the
difficult administrative tasks had to deal with. Sure enough, he was not the only person who felt that
way. President Wilson believed that in order to run an effective government, ideas from the private
sector should be incorporated into the public sector. He even went as far as to give input on how the
government would be able to implement ideas from the private sector to the public sector. And that
is to limit what hierarchical organization can do. Wilson believed that those in power would not have
control of creating the policy, but they will have a handle on how the policy is implemented. Two
themes stood out around the topic of Public Administrationthe distinction between policy and
administration, and the accountability of elected individuals who are a part of an organization. The
second theme was around the use of structures and strategies to ensure that managementwork
efficiency.
Many had much to say when it came Wilson s statement that Policy and Administration should be
separate entities. A few people argued that policy and administration could not be separated because
policy and administration depend on one another to work effectively. Frederick Taylor, a theorist
believed that in order to enforce efficiency within an organization, a scientific management

I am, to date, the only known survivor. Trust me, I ve been looking for this thing for a very long
time. It preys on anyone; age, gender, sexuality. None of that matters. So far, there has been no
way to connect the victims. Hell, not even blood types are a factor. That was the first thing I
ruled out. Seems complicated doesn t it? It really wasn t. My friend was a target too, his blood
type was A, while mine was B. But anyway, back to this thing that attacked me. If you could even
say that. It may appear to want to physically attack you, you know, the usual teeth, claws, giant

I m going to let the creature come after you. Perhaps you could be part of my study of the thing.
Would you die? Most likely. Remember, I did say I m the only survivor. I think there s a reason
for that. Someone has to put the creature in the books. That s what I ll call it. The Creature. Has a
nice ring to it, don t you think? Now, don t you start calling me crazy. I assure you, my dear, I am
completely sane. I just need another victim. One more and I m sure I could find some kind of
connection. And then, I would be able to stop The Creature before it could attack again! Wouldn t

Essay on Trifles by Susan Glaspell
Trifles was written in the early 1900 s by Susan Glaspell. This occurred far before the women s
movement. Women were generally looked upon as possessions to their husbands. Their children, all
wages, and belongings were property of their husbands. In Glaspell s story it is easily depicted as to
what role the men and women portrayed in society at this time.
Glaspell proves her point by a conversation between two women in this story. The women, Mrs.
Peters and Mrs. Hale, are at the scene of the murder of John Wright. The women accompanied the
County Attorney, the Sheriff, and Mr. Hale to the house. Mr. Hale describes everything that he saw
the morning he discovered Mr. Wright s body. The men have come to the house looking for evidence

All the men notice is clutter. The men do not look deeper behind the meanings of this disarray.
However, the women do. The women understand that the reason that things such as the towels are
not clean is because she more than likely was busy doing her many other chores of the household.
They also considered how much trouble Mrs. Wright went to fix the preserves. The women reason
that the uncaring concern John had for Minnie and the attention he paid to the house perhaps forced
Minnie to resort to killing. Even the County Attorney, Sheriff, and Mr. Hale could not understand all
the difficulties women go through. They criticize Mrs. Wright as well as insult all women. Mr. Hale
says, quot;Well, women are used to worrying over trifles. quot; The actions of just these men show
how women were taken for granted in this era. Inevitably, the men are unable to prove that Mrs.
Wright murdered her husband but are going to convict her anyway. However, the women have
solved the case. They come to the conclusion that Mrs. Wright was not treated very well by her
husband and was not able to withstand the mistreatment anymore. They could tell the lack of
attention he paid to his wife. The men still have a hard time accepting this concept because they do
not believe that men treat women badly.
The title, Trifles, as well as the examples all represent how men view women. A quot;trifle quot; is

Help Raise Awareness Of Down Syndrome
Introduction
What I am doing and why.
The reason behind my booklet is to help raise awareness of down syndrome. Also in relation to
article 1 states All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed
with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood
(reference). Also to help parents who are not sure if they want to have the prenatal test or have had
a positive prenatal screening or have just given birth to a child who has down syndrome. I have the
history behind how the discovery was founded, information about down syndrome. I have
information behind the beginning of prenatal testing and also the risks of having the tests done. I
have a section that I will talk about how society has changed over the years. Another section will
have some stories and letter that family, students and teachers have written on their experiences
also I have some opinion pieces by people with religious beliefs. I will also include some resources
and also websites that you can visit to get more information.
Background information
History of Down Syndrome and Prenatal Testing.
Dictionary.com defines Down Syndrome as a genetic disorder, associated with the presence of an
extra chromosome 21, characterised by mild to severe mental impairment, weak muscle tone,
shorter statue, and flattened facial profile. Also know as Trisomy 21... Down syndrome has replaced
earlier terms, such as mongolism to refer to the disease and Mongoloid
Simulated Results And Analysis Of A Ver Of The System
All rotated symbols are fed into a decision circuit and the squared distance |dk,b|2 to the closest
constellation point is calculated in the complex plane:
|d_(k,b) |^2=|Z_k e^(jφ_b ) X ^_(k,b) |^2(4.12)
Where Xk,b is the decision of Zkejφb. After the DSP compensation for the optical fiber linearities
the signal is passed through the threshold detector (Decision) and at the QAM decoder to decode
the original signal transmitted. The two QAM decoder for the X polarization and the Y
polarization bit sequences are finally passed through the parallel to serial converter and the BERT

Further analysis of DP 16 QAM has been done in terms of average Bit error rate(BER) and optical
signal to noise ratio(OSNR) in order to analyse the Phase noise and Gaussian noise.
In the proposed design sweep iterations has been used in the optical signal to noise ratio (OSNR)
component and the BER TEST SET component. On using the feature of the simulator in order to
make nested parameters, and thus obtaining the required average BER. With the higher order 16
QAM it is not easy to decide the filter to be used having minimum noise so graph have drawn
between Average BER versus OSNR.
The graph is taken before carrier phase estimation (CPE) in order to analyse the Phase Noise. The
required graph for phase noise in terms of average BER for different filter types with varying
filter order are drawn in Figure 4.7(a) (d). The graph is drawn between the average BER and
OSNR which shows that with the increase in OSNR the BER decreases. In another way with the
increase in noise the average bit error rate increases. There is a value fixed theoretically for each
modulation technique above which OSNR cannot be permitted in the system. Figure 4.7(a)

The Pros And Cons Of Extreme Parenting
Helicopter Parents Crash
A parent fears how their kid is going to end up. Some think every day and night of their they stress
about it and think, how can I make them beater. Parents then act in a drastic or extreme mashers.
Even though they believe their children will become beater people, extreme parenting can back fire
because the parents freaked out about everything and they become to attack to their kid. In this
paper I will tell you about extreme parents.
They believe there children will become beater people but they don t realize that they code be
hurting them. Like Adler learned that his son is an indigo, a child with sensory and intellectual gifts
not evident to most of the world (Hinckley). She tried medication but decided to stop because of
the bad effects. Another example that shows that they believe their children will become beater
people is Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother, which is about raising her two daughters. Title Why
