Quiz App Project Presentation Script

Slide 1: Introduction

Good [morning/afternoon], everyone.

I'm Tonay Sadhukhan, and I'm excited to present our group project titled "Online Quiz Platform".

This project was built to simplify the process of creating and attempting quizzes online - making it easier for

teachers, trainers, or anyone to host quick assessments.

Slide 2: Project Objective

The main goal of our project is to create an easy-to-use platform where admins can create quizzes and share

them instantly with participants.

We wanted to streamline the quiz experience for both the quiz creators and the players, removing the need

for complex tools or manual checking.

Slide 3: Technologies Used

For this project, we used a full stack approach:

- HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the frontend interface

- Node.js and Express.js for handling the backend API and logic

- MongoDB as our database to store quiz data and user responses

- Netlify was used for deploying the frontend

- Render was used to host the backend server

The core features of our quiz application include:

- Admin Sign-Up and Login: Secure authentication for quiz creators

- Quiz Creation Dashboard: Admins can create a quiz with one question and four options

- Player Quiz View: Participants can play quizzes directly through the link without logging in

- Score Recording and Display: After submission, players can view their score immediately

Slide 5: My Role

In this project, I was responsible for integrating the backend API with the frontend, handling the login system,

quiz link redirection, and user interface development.

I also ensured smooth communication between the frontend and backend using REST APIs and tested the

application thoroughly.

Slide 6: Teamwork

Our team consisted of [number] members. We collaborated using Git and version control tools to divide work

efficiently - handling frontend, backend, and testing in parallel.

Clear roles and constant communication helped us maintain steady progress throughout the development.

Slide 7: Current Status

The project is currently functioning and deployed online.

Admins can create quizzes, and users can play them seamlessly via shared links.

The core functionalities are working as expected, and the app has been tested with multiple sample quizzes.

Slide 8: Future Scope

Going forward, we plan to:

- Add support for multiple questions per quiz

- Include a leaderboard and analytics for admins

To conclude, this quiz app project was a great opportunity for us to apply what we've learned in web

development, user authentication, and database integration.

It not only enhanced our technical skills but also taught us the value of collaboration and real-time

deployment.
