Course Description:
This course builds on introductory statistics with emphasis on applications in computing. Topics
include probability distributions, estimation, hypothesis testing, regression, and statistical software
tools.

- Discrete Distributions: Binomial, Poisson
- Continuous Distributions: Normal, Exponential
3. Sampling and Sampling Distributions
4. Estimation
- Point Estimation
- Confidence Intervals
5. Hypothesis Testing
- One-sample and Two-sample Tests
- Z-test, t-test, Chi-square test
6. Correlation and Regression
- Pearson Correlation
- Linear Regression
7. Analysis of Variance (ANOVA)
8. Introduction to Statistical Software (Excel, R, Python)
