ORIENTATION (HUMSS)

Work Immersion
Second Semester
School Year 2024-2025

The Mock Interview commenced at 8:00 in the morning on the 30th of January, 2025. I
was feeling well that week that affected my voice however, I tried my very best to
attend. On that note, I came running late but still managed to get there on time.

The whole classroom was a mess as everyone was starting to prepare for the mock
interview. As soon as I entered the room, I immediately went to the ladies’ room to
change into formal attire. But as expected, it’s also occupied by students preparing for
the same event.

After a long preparation, our section was slowly being called one-by-one to come
down. We lined up chronologically and went down to the interview room.
I’m nervous as I’m not fully confident due to the illness I was experiencing nonetheless,
I didn’t show that I was not confident or any nervousness.

When it was my turn to go inside, it was my mistake for attempting to sit down without
the interviewer’s permission that made me become more conscious. The interviewer is
rather intimidating so I really made myself cautious with my actions and everything
that I'll say.

Moving forward, our papers were collected such as the resume, application letter, and
the evaluation form. The first thing that was noticed is the size of the paper because it
was not uniform. Anyway, all of us were asked different questions and the first
question for me was: “What position are you applying for” to which I answered
honestly based on the information written on my application letter.

I just responded to the questions with confidence, looked directly at the interviewer,
and remained to have a positive expression as I spoke. I did not know whether or not I
did a good job at the end of the interview.
