ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
DATE
My first day of immersion was a mix of excitement and nerves. I
didn't know what to expect, even with a classmate. But the staff
were incredibly welcoming, and the office was modern and nice,
which calmed me down. After a wait, we had a short interview where
the staff explained their work, who they deal with (mostly barangay
February 11, 2025 officials), and our hours (8 AM-12 PM and 1 PM-5 PM). My classmate
was unexpectedly transferred to another office that afternoon
because they were short-staffed, but shortly after that, I was given
my first task: organizing documents from different barangays.
I finally met the head of our office today! He's really kind, but super
busy – always in meetings. He was a bit under the weather, but still
managed a warm welcome and even gave us snacks and coffee. This
February 12, 2025 morning was mostly observation, but this afternoon, I was a little late
(got a haircut!), and then we all started collecting and putting
together case data from the different barangays to send in.
I arrived early for work today, unlike yesterday. The staff opened the
office early, and we immediately began cleaning. After cleaning, we
were assigned tasks to organize numerous compilation papers from
various barangays due to our recent office move. Each of us handled
different barangays, arranging the papers chronologically by
February 13, 2025 submission date. I completed the organization for two barangays,
leaving one unfinished for after lunch. I finished the remaining
barangay compilation in the afternoon, just before DILG
representatives arrived for a meeting. We continued compiling
documents throughout the afternoon.
It was a crazy busy day! The others were already cleaning the office
when I arrived this morning – a Valentine's Day surprise for Ma'am
Rosalinda. I swept outside. One staff member brought in reports and
Valentine's Day gifts for Ma'am – flowers and chocolates – and we all
wrote her cards. Then, the bad news: Ma'am Rosalinda wasn't
coming in because of a headache. After that, we spent the rest of
the morning reviewing reports from the barangay secretaries. We
February 14, 2025
even squeezed in a group photo before they left, even though Ma'am
wasn't there. The afternoon was slow; the staff were swamped with
reports, so we didn't have much to do. I almost fell asleep! Finally,
we tackled the storage room – a disaster from the recent move. We
sorted documents, tossed out broken things, and generally got it
organized.
I almost missed the flag ceremony this morning! I rushed in just as it
was starting. At the office, my classmate and one of the staff were
already there. I swept outside and watered the plants while she
swept inside. The other staff member arrived soon after. Once we
finished cleaning, we got back to our Valentine's Day surprise for
Ma'am Rosalinda – she was coming in today! She was a little late
because she dropped her husband off at work in Silvino. She was so

surprised and happy to see our gifts and messages – she said she
didn't expect anything for Valentine's Day, not even from her
husband! She gave us all hugs and we took some pictures. The
afternoon was pretty quiet; we mostly observed and helped out with
whatever they needed.
I'm not going to the office today because I have my entrance exam at
the University of Eastern Philippines campus. It's scheduled for
today, and I already asked our head of office and the staff for
permission, and they allowed me to go. The exam starts at 1:00 PM,
but I went early because it's hot outside. I met a classmate and friend
February 18, 2025 who was also taking the exam. The exam went well. We were able to
answer all the questions, but there were a few we weren't sure
about because they were quite difficult. After the exam, we had
lunch before heading home.
I was late for work today because of the heavy rain. When I got
there, my two classmates were already cleaning. I joined in and
February 19, 2025
helped them finish up. This morning and afternoon were pretty slow
– we mostly just watched the staff review reports from the
barangays. We didn't have much to do ourselves.
I was late again today because of the rain. When I arrived, my
classmates and one of the male staff were already there. I was
quickly asked to fetch an extension cord from the storage room –
quite a climb on this high floor! We then started getting things ready
for Ma'am Rosalinda's meeting with the BFP. After that, we went
downstairs with one of the staff and then back to the office. The
other staff member arrived and taught us some basic office skills:
February 20, 2025 printing, photocopying, printer maintenance, and even some basic
laptop skills – printing from a laptop, using different print settings,
and transferring documents from our phones. The afternoon was
pretty relaxed. We talked about college, our future plans, and Ma'am
Rosalinda gave us some great advice about focusing on our studies to
secure a good job.
I was late again today because of the heavy rain. All we did today was
photocopy reports for people who needed copies. We also tried to
remember what the staff member taught us about using the printer.
In the afternoon, we did the same thing – just printing and
photocopying. A lot of barangay reports were submitted today.
February 21, 2025 Before we left, the female staff member gave us a brief orientation.
She shared her experiences from college and gave us some advice,
telling us to always be careful in everything we do.
Today was our last day of immersion! I started by helping clean the
office. It was a pretty quiet day; the staff were busy with meetings,
February 24, 2025
and Ma'am Rosalinda had a lot on her schedule. This afternoon, we
left early at 4 o'clock to attend an awards ceremony for all the
immersionists at the gymnasium.
