of your choice. Your script should include aspects of animations.
Video Script: ‘THE MORNING RUSH’
[FADE IN: A busy city street at dawn. The sun is rising, and the streets are slowly becoming
crowded with people and cars.]
Narrator (v.0):
Every morning, millions of people wake up to the same challenge: the morning rush.
A race against time to get to work, school or wherever life calls them.
[CUT TO: Animation of a person’s alarm clock ringing. The character, a young
professional named Esther, slowly wakes up, stretching and groggily turning off the
alarm.]
Esther (groggily):
Oh no! I’m late!
[ACTION: Esther frantically rushes out of the bedroom, opening the bathroom door.
She quickly brushes her teeth and a toothbrush held in one hand while puling clothes
from the closet with the other.]
Narrator (v.0)
Meet Esther. She’s just like most of us. The alarm rings, and for a brief moment, she
contemplates the idea of staying in bed. But there is no time to waste.
[TRANSITION: the scene transitions with a quick zoom to the kitchen, the door
swings open and Esther rushes trying to pour coffee into a travel mug while balancing
her phone between her ear and shoulder.

ESTHER (on phone Distracted)
Yeah, I will be there in 10 minutes! No, I haven’t eaten yet!
[ACTION: as Esther struggles with coffee, she spills some on her shirt. Her face
scrunches in frustration. She grabs a napkin and starts dabbing at the stain.]
Narrator (v.0)
We ve all been there. Everything goes wrong when you re rushing, spilled. coffee and
a missed breakfast and the clock is ticking faster than you think.
[TRANSITION: The camera zooms in on Esther’s face as she changes into her work
clothes, throws on a jacket and picks her bag. The camera transitions with a smooth
swipe a she exits the apartment door.
ESTHER (rushing out)
I’ll make it. I have to make it
[CUT TO: Animation of Esther running down the sidewalk, dodging pedestrians,
waiting for a bust stop. The camera zooms out to show other people in similar
situations, hurrying to catch buses, taxis or walking briskly.]
Narrator (v.0)
And she’s not alone. All around her, people are in the same race. Commuters, parents,
students, all chasing time, all hoping to make it to their destination.
[ACTION: Esther Checks her Watch as she continues to run. She speeds up and
hurries past a crowded bus station where people are impatiently waiting]
ESTHER (Muttering to herself)
Come on, Come on……
[TRANSITION: the scene transitions with a quick fade as Esther arrives at a subway
Station.

Narrator (v.0)
The subway her final hope but is she too late!
[CUT TO: Esther, breathless rushing towards the subway train, which is just about to
close its doors. In the animation the train door slowly starts to close as Esther reaches
it. Esther steps into a subway train, where she finds tinny spot to stand. The train door
close and it takes off at high speed, weaving through tunnels.]
Narrator (v.0)
For Esther, it’s the subway today. The clatter of the tracks beneath her, the swaying
of the train, all part of the daily routine. She’s packed in with dozens of others but
they all share the same goal: get there on time.
[CUT TO: Animation of the subway arriving at a busy station. Esther steps off the
train and enters a large building, checking the time on her wristwatch.]
Narrator (v.0)
As she arrives at her office building, the tension eases. She’s made it. But not
everyone is as lucky.
[CUT TO: Animation of a person running late, checking the time on their phone,
getting stuck in traffic, missing the elevator, and struggling to catch up.]
ESTHER (Speaking to herself)
I have made it on time!
Narrator (v.0)
For some, the morning rush is a bit more chaotic. Deadlines looming, meetings to
attend, but there is always a sliver lining. No Matter how stressful the start, the day is
full of opportunities waiting to unfold.
[FADE TO: Animation of Esther siting at her desk, breathing a sigh of relief as she
looks out the office window. The office is calm, with sunlight pouring through the
window.]
Narrator (v.0)
After the storm of the morning, the calm of the office. But Esther knows the race is
never really over. Its just one part of the journey. Tomorrow, it all begins again.
