A very Good morning to everyone joining us today.

I Dr aishwarya krishnakumar and dr spoorthy (1st year

postgraduates , dept of Obstetrics and gynaecology )will be your
hosts for this event and it is our pleasure to welcome you all .

I assure you that this conference will prove to be fruitful and

informative for all the members participating in this conference.

Before beginning, I would like to thank all the dignitaries joining us

this year. We are all extremely grateful that you all have taken
time from your busy schedules to help make us understand these
difficult yet vital topics in detail that will help us to tackle obstetric
emergencies very effectively in our daily practice.

Obstetric emergencies are life-threatening medical problems that develop

during pregnancy, labor, or delivery. There are a number of pregnancy-
related illnesses and disorders that can endanger both the mother's and the
child's health. During active labor and after delivery, obstetrical crises can
arise (postpartum). In this session we will be discussing 8 different
obstetric emergencies and their management .

This conference will involve numerous interactive sessions where the

speakers will share their work ethic and years of experience with us.
We have tried to keep this conference as interactive as possible
therefore you all are free to ask legible and relatable questions.
