GUIDELINES AND TEMPLATE FOR DISSERTATION REPORT

INTRODUCTION

The presentation of the seminar should follow guideline highlighted below. You are to apply the
knowledge acquired during the last workshop organized by the department for a good presentation and
reporting.
You are expected to submit two copies of the seminar report following the guidelines.
At the end, you will be graded both on the report as well as the presentation. You are to prepare
presentation slide of not more than 15 slides.
Meet with your supervisor for further guide. It is essential you interact with your supervisor regularly for
smooth preparation.

GUIDELINES
The content of the report must contain the following:

TITLE PAGE
This is the first page of the report, it will contain the title of the research work, name of the student and
his/her matric number and date. A sample of this is shown below:

FORMATTING GUIDELINES
● All the report must be in 12-point, Times new roman with 1.5 line spacing
● The title page will have 16-point, Times new roman and bold
● All the section name (e.g. Statement of the Problem) will be 14-point, Times new roman and bold
