Field Data Collectors (Enumerators)
TITLE: Field Data Collectors (Enumerators)
TEAM/PROGRAMME: PDQ LOCATION: Across the country
GRADE: N/A CONTRACT LENGTH: 12 months
CHILD SAFEGUARDING:
Level 3: The post holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently or
intensively because they work country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are
responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff.
ROLE PURPOSE:
Under the supervision of Research and Evaluation Coordinator, the Field Data Collectors (Enumerators)
will carry out responsibilities including but not limited to collect real-time monitoring data, baseline and
endline data for different projects. Enumerators will participate in different trainings to be debriefed and
trained prior to being deployed to various parts of the country (both development and humanitarian
activities).
SCOPE OF ROLE:
The scope of the assignment varies varies from one research/evaluation project to another and this will
clearly be defined in specific research proposal. Successfully enumerators will be called upon temporary
basis(fixed) period.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
▪ Participate in the training session prior to the field work;
▪ Conduct interviews to research participants and or beneficiaries in the field designed by Save the
Children International;
▪ Conduct Field preparation including engaging local authorities and identifying research
participants;
▪ Adhere to all Save the Children International survey and data protocols;
▪ Perform other duties related to the project that may be assigned to him/her, such as, but not
limited to, testing the questionnaire and decide for his/her interviews;
▪ Be responsible for maintaining good relations with Save the Children International, its employees,
partner organizations and project participants;
▪ Transmit data collected to her/his coordinator on a daily basis;
▪ Assist in any other task related to the delivery of the research / evaluation activities.

QUALIFICATIONS
•The applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Education, Social
Science (Psychology, Sociology, population and development studies), Business Communication,
Economics, Statistics, Health, any other fields of studies.
