Course Description : Within this subject will be discussed the characteristics of the demand for financial services in developing countries and analyze how to target
the poor people and low-income customers in the developing countries to help with the microfinance. This subject is designed to increase student’s understanding in the role
of microfinance in poverty alleviation. The student is expected to understand microfinance markets, assess microfinance service providers, analyze and develop policies to
build inclusive financial services and systems for the poor people, and be familiar with the trends in financing microfinance.
