Form 3 Assignment (Term 2) 2021

Research on the following information relating to the sport of Cricket

1. State 5 rules relating to the sport of cricket.

-After a no ball is bowled, the batting side is awarded a free hit (in limited

overs)

-If the ball strikes the batsman on the leg in line with the wicket it may be

given “LBW” and the batsman will be given out

-Hitting the wickets with the ball when bowling is given as out on a legal

delivery

-Catching a batsman’s shot on the full is also given as out

-Hitting the ball to the boundary along the ground will give the batting

team 4 runs

2. State the countries who won the last five T-20 Cricket world cup tournaments, the year this

tournament was held, the runners up to this tournament/2nd place team and the host country of the

T-20 world Cup Cricket tournament according to the year. Represent your findings in the table

provided for you below.
