ACTIVITY/ LAC PROPOSAL
I. TITLE : LEARNING ACTION CELL SESSION ON THE INTERIM GUIDELINES FOR THE
DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT AND EVALUATION SYSTEM
FOR TEACHERS IN THE SCHOOL YEAR 2024-2025

II. BACKGROUND AND RATIONALE
The Department of Education is committed to provide learners with quality basic
education. One way to achieve it is to have highly competent teaching personnel which will be
instrumental in providing quality teaching to achieve desirable learning outcomes. This can be
done by adhering to the Results-based Management System.
With reference to DepEd Memorandum (DM) No. 017, s. 2025 titled Interim Guidelines
for the Department of Education Performance Management and Evaluation System for Teachers
in the School Year 2024-2025, the preparation for the initial activities of IPCRF for School Year
(SY) 2024-2025 as one of the work priorities anchored on the operationalization of the Basic
Education Learning Continuity Plan and School Calendar and Activities for SY 2024-2025 are
hereby promulgated.
In order to cascade the comprehensive guidelines in the implementation of the SY 2024-
2025 PMES , the Cumcumraas-Manggaddi-Pitpitac Elementary School will conduct the school-
based Learning Action Cell on the PMES Guidelines. The specific guidelines, including the tools,
and timelines, in the implementation of PMES as anchored in the mandates of the Department
of Education and aligned with the delivery of instruction through the learning delivery face to
face instructions.
III. Overview
The LAC Session on the PMES for Teachers Guidelines will be participated by 8 teachers
of the Cumcumraas-Manggaddi-Pitpitac Elementary School where stringent health protocol shall
be observed.
Mrs. Rochelle C. Dulig, the Acting School Head and LAC coordinator will serve as the
organizer and speaker of this activity. It will be a face to face session in the school office.
IV. OBJECTIVES
Terminal Objectives
At the end of the LAC session, the participants should be equipped with the specific
guidelines, including the tools, protocols, and timelines, in the implementation of PMES for
Teachers.

Enabling Objectives
1. identify the following through a walk-through on DM-PHROD-2021-0010:
a. implementation guidelines of PMES for Teachers for SY 2024-2025;
b. the PMES tools for proficient and highly proficient teachers; and
c. activities required in the PMES cycle for Teachers for SY 2024-2025;
2. enumerate the means of verification required in each performance indicator in the COT
and the alternative classroom observation guidelines; and
3. accomplish the E-SAT and make the IPCRF-DP.
