RECRUITMENT OF NON-FACULTY (GROUP-A) ON DIRECT RECRUITMENT BASIS
All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jammu, an Institute of National Importance, is one of the new AIIMS
and apex healthcare Institute under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) which has been
established by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, with the aim of correcting regional imbalance
in quality tertiary level healthcare in the country, and attaining self-sufficiency in graduate, postgraduate and higher
medical education and training.
Online applications from Indian citizens/persons registered as Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholder under
Section 7A of the Citizenship Act, 1955 as permissible under the applicable Act/Rules are invited for the following

2. The AIIMS, Vijaypur, Jammu reserves the rights to increase or decrease or not to fill up any post(s) without
assigning any reason. The Competent Authority reserves the right to amend, cancel or change this
advertisement as a whole or in part without assigning any reason or giving notice.
3. The posts are whole time and private practice of any kind is strictly prohibited.
4. All posts carry usual allowances as admissible to Central Government employees of similar status at Samba
(Vijaypur) UT of J&K.
5. Applicants must possess the essential qualification and experience up-to-the last date of online submission of
application(s). Their candidature will be cancelled at any stage if it is found that their educational qualification or
experiences is/are not genuine.
6. SELECTION PROCESS: Selection is based on performance in the Interview. However, written test or
screening, based on objective criteria may be done to short list applicants to be called for interview. The
decision of the Competent Authority regarding shortlisting of candidates to be called for interview, would be
final and binding on all candidates.
7. Canvassing of any kind will be a disqualification.
8. The candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.
9. All disputes will be subject to jurisdiction of Court of Law at Jammu UT of J& K.
APPLICATION PROCESS: The aspiring applicants satisfying the eligibility criteria in all respects can submit their
application through ONLINE mode only in prescribed format. Online registration of application will be made
available on AIIMS Jammu official website [Link] from 20.05.2025 (Tuesday) to
19.06.2025 (Thursday) upto 5.00 PM.
10. ELIGIBILITY NORMS:
a) The applicants applying in response to this advertisement should satisfy themselves regarding their
eligibility for the post applied for. They must be fulfilling eligibility criteria as on the closing date of Online
applications i.e. should have passed qualifying exam for essential education qualification / have completed
duration of experience as given in Recruitment rules on or before last date of online submission of form. In
those cases where one passes exam or complete duration of experience after this date, their candidature
will stand cancelled.
b) Candidates must upload the documents/certificates in support of all the claims made by them in the
application like, Date of Birth, Experience (in sequence as mentioned in application), Essential
qualification(s), separately against each claim. Each document should be uploaded in requisite format. File
size should not exceed the prescribed limit. Print out of all such file should be legible when printouts are
taken. For this purpose, the applicant should scan the documents/certificates in 200 dpi grey scale.
Documents which have not been asked for like Pay Slip, Resume, Appointment letter, Relieving letter, Un-
signed Experience Certificate etc. must not be uploaded in Document upload module.
c) Matriculation/10th Standard or equivalent certificate indicating date of birth, or mark sheet of
Matriculation/10th Standard or equivalent issued by Central /State Board indicating Date of Birth should be
submitted in support of claim of age.
d) Education Qualification certificates as per Recruitment Rules for the post applied must be uploaded. In
case of those who have equivalent educational qualification, Order/ letter regarding equivalent Educational
Qualification claimed, indicating the Authority (with number and date) under which it has been so treated,
regarding equivalent clause in Essential Qualifications, if a candidate is claiming a particular qualification
as equivalent qualification as per the requirement of advertisement. The equivalent qualification will be
decided by the Competent Authority of AIIMS, Jammu and his decision will be final in this regard.
e) Experience Certificate: should be from the Head(s) of Organization (for the period of experience claimed,
clearly showing the, duration of experience (“from” to “to”), Nature of experience (administrative, teaching
and/or research). Administrative, Teaching or research experiences, as the case may be, which are
gained in recognized organization institutions will only be considered. Experience acquired after having

acquired requisite essential qualification for the applied post will only be considered to determine eligibility
as per Recruitment Rules for the post.
f) NOC Certificate: No Objection Certificate from the present employer (in case of regular candidates
working in Government/Semi or Quasi Government, Government enterprises or Government funded
autonomous institutions) is mandatory. Those who fail to produce NOC will not be allowed to appear for the
interview for the post. Therefore, candidates are advised to upload NOC along with application or
alternatively must produce it at the time of interview failing which he/she shall not be interviewed.
Candidates, who are working as contractual employee in Government/Semi-
Government/PSUs/Autonomous Bodies or any institution funded by Government, also have to produce
NOC mandatorily. In case of change in employment status on or before interview/selection process due to
any reasons, they have to take fresh permission from their new employer before interview and they also
have to submit fresh NOC from their new employer.
g) Application for more than one post: In case a candidate wishes to apply for more than one post, he/she
is required to fill in the form separately for each post through On-line mode and deposit application fees
separately along with each application.
h) Submission of Hard Copy of Application Form: The candidate(s) who submit(s) their online applications
must also submit self-attested copies each of all relevant certificates regarding Age, Qualification,
Experience including Proof of Payment, NOC, other relevant testimonials along-with a printout of the
application submitted online so as the same reach to the following address on or before 26.06.2025

i) Note: Failure to submit the hard copy by due date of submission i.e on or before 26.06.2025
(Thursday) will lead to cancellation of the candidature.
j) Applications which are not complete as required for online submission, or applications where application
fee is not submitted will be rejected without any communication. Therefore, to avoid rejection of their
application, candidates are requested to make sure that application fee is paid, application is complete in
all respect before they finally submit/upload the application.
k) Document Verification: All the original certificates/documents will be verified at the time of interview. The
short-listed candidate(s) who are called for interview should bring print out of online application, a set of
self-attested photocopy of all documents uploaded online along with Original certificates / documents. (i)
10th class, (ii) essential educational qualifications and experience certificate(s), as applicable. Failure to
produce these certificates/documents on the day of verification of documents/interview will lead to
cancellation of candidature and candidate will not be allowed to appear for interview. List of certificates
which must be produced in original are as under (Annexure – I: List of Enclosures):
i. 10th/Matriculation Certificate from a recognized board - as proof of date of birth.
ii. Degree Certificate of essential qualifications as per Recruitment Rules.
iii. Certificate of Registration with Medical/relevant Council of India, whichever is applicable.
iv. Experience Certificate showing that you have possessed the requisite number of years of
experience as on last date of online application as prescribed for each post, from recognized
Institution(s) as applicable, subject to the condition that experience acquired only after essential
qualification will be considered.
11. PROBATION: Period of probation for all posts is two years.
12. The employees of the AIIMS will be governed by the New Pension Scheme as per the provision contained in the
Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs (ECB & PR Division) Notification No. 5/7/2003-ECB&PR
dated 22.12.2003.
13. JOINING TIME will be 30 days from the issue of appointment letter. Extension in joining time will be considered,
only in exceptional cases, with the approval of Competent Authority, AIIMS, Jammu. If one is selected / offered
against more than one post, when he/she joins against offered post & opts to change, he/she will not be allowed
to change
14. RESIDENTIAL ACCOMMODATION There is provision of providing residential accommodation. However, in
view of the paucity of the residential accommodation in the campus, it may not be possible to provide
accommodation soon after joining. In the event that no accommodation is provided, necessary House Rent
Allowance (H.R.A) as admissible to the Central Government Servants of similar status stationed at Vijaypur
(Samba/ UT of J&K) will be provided as per rules.

16. PHOTO & SIGNATURE: The candidate must ensure that their photo and signature are clearly visible in preview
at the time of filling of application in online mode. If photo/signature images are displayed small or not visible in
preview on website, that means photo/signature are not as prescribed. In such cases where photo/signature or

both are small or not visible on preview but application is uploaded, in such cases application will be rejected.
Accordingly, candidates are advised to be very careful while uploading their photo and signature.
17. If any document/certificate furnished is in a language other than Hindi or English, a transcript of the same in
English duly attested by a Gazetted officer is to be submitted.
18. Candidates are advised to fill their correct and active e-mail ID in the online application, as all correspondences
will be made by the Institute through e-mail. Test/Interview schedule will be mailed in due course to the
provisional eligible candidate in their registered e-mail.
19. APPLICATION FEES: Rs. 1500/- (non-refundable). Application fee once remitted shall not be refunded under
any circumstances Applications without the prescribed fee would be summarily rejected.
20. INCLUSION IN SELECTED LIST CONFERS NO RIGHT TO APPOINTMENT: - The inclusion of a candidate's
name in the Selected list confers no right to appointment unless the Competent Authority is satisfied, after such
enquiry as may be considered necessary, that the candidate having regard to his character and antecedents is
suitable in all respects for appointment to the Service.
21. DISQUALIFICATION FOR APPOINTMENT ON MEDICAL GROUNDS: - Candidate shall be appointed to the
Service, only if, after such medical examination, as the Institute may prescribe, he/she is found to be in good
mental or bodily health and free from any mental or physical defect likely to interfere with the discharge of the
duties of the Service.
22. ACTION AGAINST CANDIDATES FOUND GUILTY OF MISCONDUCT: Candidates are warned that they
should not furnish any particulars that are false or suppress any material information in filling up the application
form and any documents in the recruitment process. Candidates are also warned that they should in no case
correct or alter or otherwise tamper with any entry in a document or its attested/certified copy submitted by
them nor should they submit a tampered/fabricated document. If there is any inaccuracy or any discrepancy
between two or more such documents or their attested/certified copies, an explanation regarding this
discrepancy should be submitted. A candidate who is or has been declared by the Competent Authority to be
guilty of:
a. obtaining support of his/her candidature by any means, or
b. impersonating, or
c. procuring impersonation by any person, or
d. submitting fabricated documents or documents which have been tampered with, or
e. making statements which are incorrect or false or suppressing material information, or
f. resorting to any other irregular or improper means in connection with his/her candidature for
the selection, or
g. using unfair means during the test/interview, or
h. writing irrelevant matter including obscene language or pornographic matter, in the script(s), or
i. misbehaving in any other manner in the examination hall/interview room, or
j. harassing or doing bodily harm to the staff employed by the AIIMS, Jammu for the conduct of
their test/interview, or
k. bringing mobile phone/Communication device in the examination Hall/Interview room, or
l. violation of any clause of this advertisement and subsequent recruitment process & even after
selection/appointment, be liable:
i. to be disqualified by the AIIMS, Jammu from selection for which he/she is a candidate, and/or
ii. to be debarred either permanently or for a specified period by the Competent Authority from any
examination or selection held by AIIMS, Jammu or/and
iii. if he/she is already in service under Government to disciplinary action under the appropriate rules.
23. INTERPRETATION: If any question arises as to the interpretation of this advertisement, the Competent
Authority, AIIMS, Jammu will have the absolute right for any interpretation.
