DESCRIPTION
1. lnstaUation of this kit consists of:
A Draining fuel from tanks.
B. Removing existing fuel cap end adapter assembly.
C. Installing new gasket, adapter, and cap assembly.
O. Installing new placards ramoved for this modification.
2. Installation Instructions..
A. Drain fuel from both RH and u-I wing tanks.
8. Remove existing tuel cap adapter In location (1), with existing cap assembly (4) and gasket.
Retain hardware, cflScard fuel cap, chain. and adapter assembly.
NOTE: Be sure and check fuel bladder for dirt or foreign matter that may have faDen into
bladder. Clean or vacuum out bladdec as required.
C. t~ta" new adapter assambly (1) with 0726002-1 gasket furnished in kit, using retained
hardware (2) removed in Step (2).
NOTE: lostaU adapter assembly with the long side of internal filler neck extension forward.

NOTE: Replace all placards removed -during this modification. Rarer to appropriate Parts
CatalOg fO( part numbers. Delete 1205253-1 Fuel Cap :Alignment Placard with
incarporatioo of this kit. instaU appropriate GAMA fuel placard near fuel filler.

3. "Turbo· placards removal (if Instaned);
A Remove adhesive backed external -Turbo- placards by heating wirJ a heat gun until the
adh9Sive softens. theel remove the placard. ClaM excess adhosive off too airplane with naplh.a
or methyl ethyl ket0 lle (MEK).
NOTE: If airplane paint is lacquer (ar if paint type is unknown) use n~tha initially. MEK will
soften lacquer paint and may cause it to wrinkle. '
B. Remove mechanically fastened external -Turbo" placards (attached wiP'l screws or rivets) by
removing the attaching fasteners. Plug the screw or rivet holes with suitable slzed cherry rivets
and paint to match the arpillne.
4. After completion of both fuel cap replacements. refuel airplane.
5. Make an entry in too airplane logbook stating this service kit has been installed.
