Scene 1: School Hallway

(Students are walking and chatting. Kimberly is at her locker. Shean and Joriena approach.)

Shean:
Well, well… still wearing that same hoodie, Kimberly?

Joriena:
I think it’s stuck to her forever.

(They laugh. Kimberly looks down and stays quiet. Erwin sees it from a distance.)

Scene 2: Classroom – Before the Teacher Arrives

(Students are chatting. Kimberly walks in, and Shean bumps her so her books fall.)

Shean:
Oops! Careful. You might trip on your own silence!

(Students laugh. Ceejay stands up.)

Ceejay:
That’s enough, Shean.

Shean:
What, you her bodyguard now?

Ceejay:
No. I just know it’s wrong to bully someone who’s done nothing to you.

(Everyone goes silent. Shean rolls his eyes. Kimberly quietly picks up her books.)

John Paul: (to Danica, whispering)

I wanted to say something too… but I froze.

Danica:
Same. But I’m glad someone did.

Scene 3: Cafeteria
(Kimberly sits alone at a table. Ceejay walks up.)

Ceejay:
Mind if I sit here?

Kimberly:
No… thank you.

Ceejay:
You don’t deserve what they’re doing. I’m sorry no one stood up sooner.

(Erwin and Jasmin V. walk over.)

Erwin:
Hey, we saw what happened earlier. You okay?

Kimberly:
I think I will be now.

Elma: (walking by, pauses)

Kimberly… I laughed before. I’m really sorry. Can I sit here too?

Kimberly:
Sure.

(They all smile and begin chatting.)

Scene 4: Guidance Room – with Teacher Jasmin F.

Jasmin F. (Teacher):
I heard about the incident in class. Ceejay, thank you for standing up.

Ceejay:
I just couldn’t stay quiet anymore.

John Paul:
I wanted to say something too… but I was scared.

Jasmin F. (Teacher):
That’s okay, John Paul. It’s not always easy to speak up. But even small actions can lead to
big changes.

Joriena:
I was wrong too. I didn’t realize how much it hurt her. I won't support that anymore.

Jasmin F. (Teacher):
I’m proud of all of you. Kindness is a choice—and you’re all choosing better now.

Scene 5: Hallway – A Few Days Later

(Kimberly, Ceejay, Erwin, Elma, John Paul, Jasmin V., and others are talking and laughing in a
group. Shean walks by alone, looking at them quietly. Joriena joins the group.)

Danica:
Things really changed, huh?

Elma:
It feels good to actually care about each other.

Kimberly:
Thank you all… for making me feel like I belong.

Ceejay:
We just needed someone to start the change.

All (in unison):

Break the chain. Stop bullying.
