Please Read This Before You Start!
Make sure you understand your ground and power connections! An incorrect connection WILL cause
damage of the wiring or other electronic components. NOT ALL BLACK LOOM COVERED WIRES ARE
GROUNDS.
• NOTE: Power Steering Sensor & Transmission Neutral Position Switch connectors are NOT included.
• Start by feeding the main section of the harness through the firewall. TIP: Place most of the harness into a
plastic bag, spray with WD40 or similar lubricant, and then squeeze and feed it through the firewall hole /
under intake manifold. This can help a lot in tight installs. Detach all removable sub-harnesses (MAF, Coil
Pack, Knock)
• Firewall Boot: It is possible to feed the harness through the boot but it is extremely difficult and can
damage the harness connectors if pulled too hard. It is highly recommended to make a cut at the bottom
of the boot, under where it turns down, so you can install the boot AFTER the harness is run through the
firewall. Done properly, the cut / split is completely unseen. You may also need to remove some material
from the center, especially if you have other wires going through the firewall hole. Boots are not
preinstalled due to different positioning used for custom setups.
• Once the harness is through the firewall, feed the last section under the intake manifold and connect the
CAS, TPS and Injector plugs. This is the longest connection from the firewall.
• Proceed to install the Engine Coolant Temp Sensor & Coolant Switch, Alternator, Knock Sensor Sub-
Harness & MAFS Sub-Harness.
• Install the MAF/AFM Connections and the injectors, IAC and ground connections.
• Now move to Section 1 & Section 2, and install 2 starter connections, 2 transmission connections, Oil
Pressure & O2 Sensor connections, and the Boost Solenoid connection.
• Attach the Coil Pack Sub-Harness and connect to harness and coils.
• Connect the Alternator Charge Cable between the Starter 12v main power and the Alternator 12v main
output lug. This supplies the voltage from the alternator used to charge the battery.
• Proceed to the Chassis Interface Install Guide for your individual vehicle for connections to the dash and
chassis / fusebox.
• Air Conditioning install varies with the chassis. Some A/C signals come from the chassis harness – in this
case a flying lead is provided to connect the compressor to the chassis harness.

Battery Power Connections
PLEASE COMPLETE THIS STEP AFTER THE
HARNESS HAS BEEN FULLY INSTALLED.
Please connect the Positive Battery cable as
illustrated in the picture. Battery positive
Terminal should be run to the Starter Positive
terminal on the solenoid. You may choose to
run the wire through a distribution block, to
be able to power other items in the car (or
the fuse box).

Battery Ground Connections
Please ensure the battery is properly grounded to the body of the car. Make sure any
painted ground connection points are clean of paint and are not longer than 20 inches.
Also, the engine block must be grounded to the body of the car in a similar fashion. We
recommend using wire no smaller than 4 AWG for any grounds for battery or chassis. Connection to the
block. Make sure
it’s clean of paint.

Run the main branch of the harness underneath
the intake manifold.
Each injector plug should be fed up through the
gaps between the runners of the intake manifold to
reach the injector.
Injectors 1 & 2 should be fed up through the same
gap between runners 1 & 2 so they reach correctly.
Injector 6 goes behind the last runner.

Starter & Alternator Power Connections
CRITICAL! Completely disconnect the battery terminals BEFORE starting your harness install.
Many vehicles require the engine bay fuse box to be powered directly from the battery 12v positive cable IN
ADDITION to having the starter connected directly to the battery. You will need to mimic the factory setup to
ensure the vehicle is fully powered up and the engine will start. Especially if you have a trunk mounted battery.
