1. Property Setup
- Define locations, properties, and units (e.g., buildings, land, suites).
- Classify property types: owned, leased in, leased out.
- Set up location hierarchies for property organization.
2. Lease Management
- Create Lease Agreement: lease types include Inbound (lease-in), Outbound (lease-out), and Internal.
- Capture lease terms such as lessor/lessee information, space, and lease duration.
- Define rent amounts, frequency, escalation clauses, billing terms, taxes, and payment schedules.
3. Space Assignment (Optional)
- Assign units or spaces to leases to track occupancy and usage.
- Track rentable vs usable area.
4. Payment & Billing Setup
- Link lease payments to Oracle Payables or Receivables.
- Configure recurring payments and billing schedules.
5. Lease Execution
- Activate lease once finalized and approved.
- Generate payments or invoices per lease terms.
6. Integration with Other Modules
- Oracle Payables: Supplier invoices for lease payments.
- Oracle Receivables: Customer invoices for lease income.
- Oracle General Ledger: Posting of all accounting entries.
- Oracle Assets: Asset capitalization or tracking.
- Oracle Projects: Optional for property-related costing.
7. Amendments & Renewals
- Manage lease changes, renewals, terminations.
- Maintain audit trail of all changes.
8. Reporting & Compliance
- Generate reports: lease liability, rent roll, space utilization.
- Comply with IFRS 16 / ASC 842 standards as required.
