Maths Lab Activities (Students have to bring their Lab Manuals. All 5
activities will be explained during regular teaching periods on
given dates)
1. To verify the midpoint theorem for a triangle, using the method of
paper folding.
2. To verify that the diagonals of a parallelogram bisect
16th to 20th Oct each other, using triangle cutouts.
3. To obtain the formula for the area of a triangle, given
its base and height.
4. To suggest a formula for the lateral surface area of a
given right circular cone, using paper cutting, folding,
pasting etc.
Science Practical File Assessment + Lab demonstration
25th to 30th Dec 1. Hands on/Lab Demonstrations of the 11 experiments as prescribed
by CBSE will be performed.
2. Theory procedure observations, calculations and precautions etc of
the experiments is maintained in the practical file.
3. Evaluation of Practical Files and Viva Voce.
