Excel Data Analysis

To activate DataAnalysis add-in in Excel
• The Data Analysis Add-in is a Microsoft Office Excel add-in program that is available
when you install Microsoft Office or Excel.
• To use the Solver Add-in, however, you first need to load it in Excel.

1. In Excel, go to File > Options


• Note: For Excel 2007, click the Microsoft Office Button Office button image, then click Excel Options
2. Click Add-Ins, and then in the Manage box, select Excel Add-ins.
3. Click Go.
4. In the Add-Ins available box, select the Analysis ToolPak check box, and then click
OK.
Notes:
• If the Analysis ToolPak is not listed in the Add-Ins available box, click Browse to locate the add-in.
•If you get prompted that the Analysis ToolPak is not currently installed on your computer, click Yes to install it.

To Verify,
• Click on Data tab page
• You will find Data Analysis installed

• When you click on Data Analysis, you will find various statistical analysis
tool in the following window
