Did you know that if

you use a verb after a


preposition you have
to use the –ing form of
the verb? It’s a fact,
and for once there are
no exceptions to the
rule. But to be able to
follow the rule you need
to know what a
preposition is. Look at
the board to see some
of the most common
English prepositions.

infinitive after certain
verbs.

NB: It is possible to
replace
the gerund with a
noun.
