At the Introduction phase, the organization shall use direct channels such as a factory shop
or online shop in order to collect valuable data on customer buying habits and product

At the growth and maturing phases, with a high demand of the products, the organization

wider market coverage, faster growth and logistics support which will allow the organization
to reduce costs and focus on its core competencies.
The direct channels are very cost effective at the introduction phase of the product but as
the demand increases it is important to know when to change the strategy as the product
can fall straight in the demise stage.

importing raw material. Using this strategy, the company would be able to put the product at an
inexpensive price in the market and benefit from the high revenues that could be used in
promotional activities.
