The Amoebe was originally dreamed up for


Panton's Visiona installation. It is a marvel-
ous example of close-to-the-floor lounge
furniture and embodies the spirit of the
early 70's. In bright colors, the re-edition
delivers even greater comfort thanks to its
flexible backrest shell.

Sides are dyed to match specified upholstery
color. 17 straps are used for cushion support

THE SWAN

Arne Jacobsen designed The Swan™
as well as the Egg™ for the lobby and
lounge areas at the Royal Hotel in Co-
penhagen, in 1958. In 1958 the Swan
was a technologically innovative
chair: No straight lines - only curves. A
moulded shell of synthetic material
on an aluminium star swivel base,
with a layer of cold foam covering the
shell upholstered in fabric or leather.
The base is always star shaped in satin
polished aluminium
THE ANT
ARNE JACOBSEN
1952
THE ANT™ with three legs was originally
designed for Novo Nordisk, a Danish
healthcare company and shown for the first
time at Fritz Hansen's 80th birthday in
1952, About 3 months later the chair was
shown at the spring exhibition at the Danish
Museum of Decorative Art. This became
Arne Jacobsen´s international break-
through as an architect and the Ant is one
of the prominent icons of the collection to-
day.
