EXPLANATORY NOTE
1. The Government of Andhra Pradesh has ordered that allthe students who were issued
with Hall Tickets for SSC Public Examinations March 2020 were declared as "PASS® as
the Examinations could not be conducted due to the COVID-19 Pandemic Situation
and Pass Certificates were issued accordingly as per G.O.Ms.No.34, School Education
(Prog.Il) Dept., Dated: 14.07.2020.
2. Consequently the High Power Committee appointed by Government of Andhra
Pradesh has recommended for release of Resuts of SSC Public Examinations March
2020 on the basis of the Internal Examination Marks for awarding Grades and Grade
Points as per G.O.Ms.No.46, School Education (Prog.!l) Dept., Dated: 02.08.2021.
3. The Government of Andhra Pradesh Finally Re-Introduced the system of awarding
marks and Divisions by dispensing with Grades and Grade Points from SSC Public
Examinations March 2020 onwards to identify merit for admissions and recruitments as
per G.O.Ms.No.55, School Education (Prog.ll ) Dept., Dated :27.08.2021. Hence The
Revised Pass Certificates were issuedwith the Marks accordingly.
4. The Grand Total is calculated by taking the arithmetic sum of all the Marks secured by
the Candidate in all the subjects.
5. For PH-I & PH-lcandidates, the minimum pass marks in each subject is Twenty (20)
marks.
6. The PH-IV candidates are exempted from appearing for the 3° Language paper i.e.,
English and for the PH-IV candidates who does not secure minimum qualifying Marks
in his/her examinations, a concession of Twenty (20) marks for a Single subject or
Twenty (20) marks divided totally among all subjects would awarded.
7.,For PH-V, PH-VIand PH-VI| Candidates, the minimum pass marks in each subject is
Ten (10) marks.
8. PH-Ill (Orthopedically Challenged) &PH-Vll (Low Vision) Candidates are treated on
par with the General Candidates.
9. The Internal Examination Marks that were fumished by the Director, School Education,
A.P.,are the only basis for awarding Marks in the Secondary School Certificate.
