SCHOOL RULES AND REGULATIONS
(To be strictly observed by all students)
1. All students should comply with the requirements of the different subject areas.
2. All students are expected to attend their classes on time daily.
2.1. All students should attend the flag raising ceremony every Monday (7am) and flag retreat every Friday
afternoon (4:15).
2.2. The classes start at 7:15-11:15 in the morning and 12:15-4:15 in the afternoon
2.3. Late students should only be allowed to enter the gate until 7:30 am and 12:30 pm.
3. All students are expected to respect school authorities, teachers, personnel and other school officials
3.1. Avoid unruly behavior inside the campus
3.2. No uttering of profanities/swearwords “pagmumura” inside the school campus.
4. Students should wear the prescribed and proper uniform in school.
4.1. Male students should wear:
Monday & Thursday - Polo (with logo) and black slacks, black shoes.
Tuesday and Friday- White T- shirt (propose logo) and black slacks, black shoes
Wednesday - Organizational -T-shirt and denim pants and shoes
4.2. Female students should wear:
Monday & Thursday - White blouse “baby collar” with necktie (with logo) and navy-blue skirt, black shoes with white
socks
Tuesday and Friday- White T- shirt (propose logo) and blue skirt, black shoes with white socks
Wednesday - Organizational -T-shirt and denim pants/skirt below the knee (slit at least on the knee) and shoes.
4.3. The GSP, BSP, SSLG, Journalist and Yes-O are allowed to wear their organizational shirt every Friday.
4.4. The GSP are allowed to wear their GSP uniform during flag raising ceremony.
4.5. The students are not allowed to wear slippers inside and outside the classroom except during practicum.
4.6. Members of the LGBT community may wear whichever uniform they like.
5. The school ID should be always worn by students in school.
5.1. Tampering of school ID such as placing stickers and other objects is strictly prohibited.
6. Boy’s haircut should be short and neat.
6.1. The acceptable hairstyle for boys is at least one inch above the ear and three inches above the collar line. No
design or line should be used as a hairdo.
7. Students should not come to school with hair-dyed with loud colors and heavy make-up.
8. Male students are not allowed to wear earrings. Female should only wear one pair of earrings.
9. Smoking and gambling of any form on campus are strictly prohibited.
10. Drinking intoxicants and liquor in school is prohibited.
11. Carrying and concealing deadly weapons are strictly prohibited.
12. Using, possessing and selling of prohibited drugs is strictly prohibited.
13. Students should take good care of the school properties in the classroom and in the campus.
13.1 Loss of belongings is not a liability of the school.
13.2 Any damage or broken property should be replaced immediately by the liable student/s.
14. Membership in fraternities/sororities is prohibited in school (per DECS Order No. 20, s 1991)
15. Stay at the library during vacant periods, no hanging around at the back of the” pangul” fishpond SHS building and
other restricted areas.
15.1. Cutting Classes, escaping and absenteeism is strictly prohibited.
15.2. Scaling the fence is not allowed.
15.3. Students are required to attend all activities of the school.
15.4. Avoid loitering during school programs.
15.5. Unauthorized stay or entry into the school campus after classes is strictly prohibited.
15.6. The teacher should write a letter requesting the students to come to school during Saturday and
Sunday and after class hours and provide list of students allowing them to enter the school. (research
activities of SHS learners)
15.7. Outsiders are not allowed to visit students during class hours.
15.8. All entries (visitors, parents, alumni) should sign in the logbook and secure passes before entering the school.

15.9. Students are not allowed to go out unless the Teachers’ ID should be presented recorded by the guard on
duty.
15.10. Pick-up time for water refilling should be 8:30 am and during lunch break only.
16. Littering bottles, cans, pieces of paper, disposable materials, etc. in the classroom, libraries and other places in the
campus is strictly prohibited.
16.1. No eating inside the classrooms during recess.
16.2. Students are not allowed to enter food with plastic wrappers and bottles inside the school campus
16.3. Students should bring their own tumblers and food containers.
16.4. Students should observe proper waste disposal and segregation.
17. Physical assault in any person within the premise of the school, participating in any melee, such as but not limited to
brawls, fighting, stabbing, quarreling etc. is prohibited.
17.1. Bullying in any form (physical, cyber, verbal, non- verbal and the like)
18. Forging, alteration, falsification or misuse of school documents, records, credentials, excuse letters, certificates etc. is
prohibited.
18.1. Not giving letters to parents.
19. Engaging in lewd, indecent, obscene, immoral, provocative conduct such as kissing, etc. while within the school is not
allowed.
19.1. No dating inside the school.
19.2. No public display of affection anytime and anywhere in the school.
19. Defamation against any students, teachers, or school personnel is prohibited.
20. Threatening, coercing, intimidating any students is prohibited.
21. Vandalism
a. Writing on walls, posts, benches, doors, blackboards, chairs and tables.
b. Destroying school property such as chairs, tables, electric fans, and switches of lights fans, blackboards and
other facilities.
22. Stealing/dishonesty
23. Selling of stolen goods
23.1. Extortion or asking for money from others.
24. Cheating during examinations.
25. Bringing of cellular phones iPod, MP4 or any electronic gadgets that could disturb classes is strictly prohibited.
25.1. The teacher should write a letter to the principal seeking permission to allow the students to bring their
cellphones for educational purposes only.
We adhere to the policy of the school. I also promise to visit the adviser of my son/daughter at least once
every quarter to confer about the progress of my child in school.
