Raspberry Pi OS is a lightweight and optimized operating system designed specifically for
Raspberry Pi devices. Follow the steps below to complete the installation process:
Step 1: Download the Raspberry Pi OS.

isit the following link to download the Raspberry Pi OS Imager:

1.1 Click onFinish.

ownload the Raspberry Pi OS file from this link:

Step 2: Install Raspberry Pi OS Using Raspberry Pi Imager
1. Open the Raspberry Pi Imager application.
2 . C onnect your SD card or USB drive to your PC.
3. In the Imager:
○ Click onChoose OSand selectUse Custom.
○ Browse to the downloaded Raspberry Pi OS file and select it.
4. Click onChoose Storageand select the connected SD card or USB drive.
5. Go toEdit Settings:
○ Set the hostname to your name and group number (e.g., "pratikA2").
○ Set the password as "admin".
○ SelectEnable SSH.
○ Save the changes.
6 . C lickWriteto flash the OS onto the SD card/USB drive.
7. Click onYes.
8. Click onYes.
9. Wait for the process to complete, including verification.
Step 3: Enable SSH on the Raspberry Pi
1 . A fter installation, remove and reinsert the SD card/USB drive into your system.
2. Navigate to thebootdrive.
3. Create a text file namedssh(without any file extension).
Step 4: Install VNC Viewer
