Lulu, the Turtle Jewelry Box

Materials
- 2.50 mm crochet hook
- 100 % cotton yarn for a 2.50 mm hook
- Tapestry needle
- Soft stuffing like Polyfiber fill

Colors
- Light green

- A tiny bit of black and of pink to embroider the eyes and cheeks.

Using light green…
1. Magic ring of 6 sc

Neck
Place the head upside down and join the beige yarn in the first stitch next to the
chain we made to divide the head.

3. to 10. Crochet 12 sc
Stuff firmly…
11. Press the opening of the neck with your fingers and crochet together, with sc, both

Tail
Using beige…
1. Make 2 chain stitches. Crochet 4 sc in the second chain from hook.
2. Crochet 2 sc in each stitch (8)
3. to 6. Crochet 8 sc
No need to stuff...
7. Press the opening of the neck with your fingers and crochet together, with sc, both
opposing sides (4).
Fasten off yarn and leave a long tail to sew to body.
Assembly
- Sew the feet and the tail to the base of the shell
- Sew the head by the neck to the base of the shell, making several stitches to secure
it to the side of the base so it keeps standing upright.
- Embroider the eyes with black yarn and the cheeks with pink yarn. Using both types
of green yarn, embroider some spots to the head and shell.
- Weave in all ends.
