XI Entrance Syllabus: Admissions 2025-26
Papers to be attempted for various groups:
 English: 40 Marks (for all students regardless of the group applied)
                30 Marks – Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs);
                10 Marks – Descriptive writing (Essay)
    Note:
      1. All papers except English contains 30 MCQs which are to be attempted in 30 minutes for 30 marks.
      2. Time given for English exam is 60 minutes.
      3. Each Question in MCQs carries 1 Mark for correct answer and -0.25 for wrong answer.

                (This subject deals with computer application development and data science)
 Points to be noted:
       1. Candidates who opt for Computer Science or Informatics as their elective must take an additional
          test on the same, in addition to the subjects mentioned in the table above, for each group. There
          is no prerequisite to opt for this elective.
       2. Those Candidates who opt for Telugu, Hindi / Sanskrit as their elective need not write test in
          these Languages. The candidate should have studied this elective in his 10th class.

   3. Health and Disease: Communicable and non-communicable diseases- pathogens, mode of Spread,
       control and preventive measures.
   4. Heredity and evolution: Basic concepts of Mendel’s laws of inheritance, sex determination in
       humans and basic concepts of evolution.
   5. Natural resources: Conservation and judicious use of soil, water and air. Biogeochemical cycles-
       nitrogen, carbon and water cycles. Greenhouse effect and ozone depletion. Ecosystem-food chains.

       power, Interrelation between P, V, I and R. Heating effects of electric current.
   8. Magnetic effects of current : Magnetic field, field lines, field due to a current carrying conductor,
       field due to current carrying coil or solenoid; Force on current carrying conductor, Fleming’s Left
       Hand Rule, Electric Motor, Electromagnetic induction. Induced potential difference, Induced
