TANZANIA INSTITUTE OF ACCOUNTANCY (TIA)

ATTENTION: IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR STUDENTS TAKING THEIR FINAL


EXAMINATIONS FROM 07/02/2025 TO 27/02/2025
Please be reminded of the following regulations to ensure a smooth and fair
examination process:
1. Ensure you have registered for the examination correctly, completed and
signed all necessary coursework, and paid any outstanding fees.
2. Review the examination schedule carefully to note your examinations' dates,
times, and venues.
3. Arrive at least 30 minutes before the examination and adhere to the assigned
seating plan.
4. No one will be allowed to enter the examination venue after 30 minutes from
the start of the examination.
5. All cell phones, smartwatches, iPods, and any other electronic devices or
unauthorized items must be turned off and securely stored away prior to
entering the examination venue.
6. Please note that you are prohibited from bringing bags, notes, or similar items
into the examination room.
7. Ensure you have your identification/examination card with you before the
examination. Students without identification will not be permitted entry to the
examination venues.
8. Your student identification/examination card must be placed on the top right
corner of your desk during the examination.
9. Do not start writing until instructed by the Invigilator(s) to do so.
10. Maintain silence during the examination and avoid disturbing other students. If
you have any questions, raise your hand and wait for an invigilator to assist
you.
11. If you need to leave the examination venue temporarily, you must have
permission from an invigilator.
12. Before entering or leaving the examination room, your bags or pockets may be
checked for unauthorized items.
13. Do not copy from any other candidate.
14. Do not take out of the examination venue answer booklet(s), used or unused.
15. Avoid any form of dishonesty or falsification to gain an unfair advantage in an
examination.
Candidates who are discovered to have engaged in any of the prohibited acts
mentioned above will be subject to disciplinary action, which may ultimately result in
disqualification from their studies, as specified in our TIA prospectus. For further
details, please refer to the prospectus available on our website.
