Global G/L Accounts Overview
An overview of all G/L accounts provided with the "global" chart of accounts <YCOA> is documented in a separate workbook: Preconfigured
G/L account master data for YCOA (global).

The workbook gives an overview of:

- G/L accounts (account number, description)
- Account determination (context in which G/L acounts are actually used in postings)
- More detailed information on "transactions" and "valuations classes" which, both, are criteria within the account determination
- Local (i.e. country-specific) Chart of Account G/L accounts and how they are assigned to the YCOA chart of accounts (this information is given
across all country solutions which are currently part of the SAP Best Practices Reference Content)

The information is relevant for ALL country solutions, i.e., the information does not depend on specific country/region settings.

Country/Region-Specific (Local) G/L Account Information

In contrast, there are different workbooks available (Preconfigured G/L account master data for YCOA (global)) for each country/region
with specific local information of G/L accounts. For each country, for which a localized country/region version is available, the <...##> in the
filename is replaced by the specific country abbreviation, e.g. ## could be DE (Germany), US (United States of America), CN (China), .... etc.

The workbooks spreadsheets give an overview of:

- the use of a G/L account in the country/region-specific company code (incl. company code-specific attributes)
- Information about the local G/L account number which is linked to the global G/L account number
- Specific information on account determination
- Information on cost elements

The information given in these workbooks are relevant for the given country only.
