operation in governing the vehicle speed.
Speed limit device comprises of an Electronic Control
Unit [ECU), Motor Unit, Speed Limiter Sensor and
Control cable.

1.1.1 Principle of Operation

a) When the vehicle is in motion, the speed limiter
sensor mounted in the vehicle gearbox, transmits
electronic pulse to the Electronic Control Unit
[ECU].
b) Whenever the set speed is reached, the ECU pro-
vides a signal to motor unit that is mounted in
vehicle. The motor unit in turn controls the length
of the control cable. Control cable one end is
connected with motor unit and other end is
connected with accelerator cable at accelerator
pedal end. Accelerator cable other end is mounted
at the fuel throttle lever in the fuel injection pump.
