Accessing Edge ONT
Connect ethernet wire with your laptop along with K562e access point’s LAN port. After
that, visit browser and type http://192.168.101.1/ for configuring that accesspoint.
Moreover, web page automatically appears having this URL: K562e. Click on the start
button on WEB page to configure router.

3. Configuring Edge ONT as an Access Point
Once the Start button is pressed, the Interface shows two options. Either you can configure ONT via ethernet
using WAN port of ONT or configure it wirelessly. Click on WIFI Uplink button to configure our access point
wirelessly.
Wi-Fi uplink button will browse for some moment and try to look for all available SSIDsfrom which you can
configure this K562e access point. It will take some time just like this:

After some time, it will show all SSIDs in your network. Clickon SSID with which you wantto configure this
K562e access point. Clicking the SSID will ask you to enter User name and Password.
For AX-5G as mentioned below you have to enter the credentials of that Wi-Fi to configure the access
point.

After adding credentials click on Next, new WEB page will appear to set login password of K562e access
point. After settinglogin password, click on Next and device will start configuring taking a few seconds.
When configurations get completed, following message will appear on WEB page.
Note: Internet light gets blue steady ON after configurations. Wi-Fi name and password will be same as per
Wi-Fi with which you had configured the K562e access point. Moreover, If Wi-Fi name is not same as of
AX-5G (used here as an example) then it means K562e had not configured properly and needs to be
configured it again.

4. Get Device Information
Login into ONT using IP: 192.168.18.1 and get all the information about our K562eaccess point. Click System
Information > Home Network and then you can get all the details including serial number, model, version
and online duration of our K562e access point.
Check Connected Devices
Go to home tab in ONT and click on Wi-Fi devices on main page. View the Connected devices, Connection
Duration, MAC and IP address of our K562e access point.

Click on details to get user device detailed info just like mentioned below.
6. Logging in to an Edge ONT configured as an Access Point
Password for logging access point is as same as default password written on the backside of ONT. After
logging in you will get the home page of K562e router.

Basic Wi-Fi Configurations
Click on My Wi-Fi tab to get all Wi-Fi setting from where you can change Wi-Fi name, password and
encryption mode ofyour access point’sWi-Fi settings. You can also change Wi-Fipower mode of your
accesspoint.

For Advanced Wireless Settings, Click on WLAN Information > WLAN AdvanceConfigurations.
For Wireless Devices Information, Go to System Info > WLAN Information.
For checking additional features, Go to WLAN Information > Smart Network Connection.

8. Configure as a Wi-Fi Repeater
Go to WLAN Information > Smart NetworkConnection.
In case you want to change configurations of your access point and want to configure the same access
point with other ONT’s Wi-Fi. You can simply clickmodify configurations tab and can change the
configurations of your K562e access point.

9. Connect multiple Access Points
To connect multiple access points, Go to WLAN Information > Multi-AP Role Setting. By using this setting
your Router will connect to the available AP automatically.
10. Control access of your Device
Go to Security Configuration > Device Access Control.
In this tab you can enable or disable how and which devices can access your K562e Access Point. As for
below case, the Wi-Fi devices are allowed to access Web pages.

11. Check Connectivity and Device Logs
View any form of logs from any connected device with your access point ‘Maintenance Diagnosis’. Also use
the maintenance function to check LAN or Internet connectivity.
