Brooklyn Meal Plans

Brooklyn meal plans are available to Brooklyn residents only. However, Brooklyn students also have the option to purchase
any Washington Square meal plan per the following guidelines:

First Year, Transfer, Visiting Students Living in NYU Housing and Students Living in NYU
Traditional Housing
The following students are required to participate in an NYU meal plan:

All first-year students living in Othmer Hall and Clark Street,

All transfer and visiting students, irrespective of academic status, living in Othmer Hall and Clark Street,

All students living in Othmer Hall, irrespective of academic status.

Students will be assigned a 225 Flex plan that can be adjusted to a 175 Flex plan (or 95 Flex for upper class students in Othmer Hall
apartments), after they receive an official housing assignment. Students can use their meal plans at any of our 22 NYU Eats dining
locations.

Upperclass Students and Students Living Off Campus


Upperclass students living in Othmer Hall apartments will be assigned a 225 Flex plan that can be adjusted to a 95 Flex plan after
they receive their official housing assignment.
Upperclass students living in Clark Street and students living off-campus can choose from any of the meal plans listed in the
chart below or any Washington Square meal plan.

Students can use these meal plans at any of our 22 NYU Eats dining locations.

**Default meal plan for: All first-year students, transfer, and visiting students (irrespective of academic status) living in NYU housing;
and all upperclass students living in traditional NYU housing.

*** 175 Flex is the minimum meal plan for: All first-year students, transfer, and visiting students (irrespective of academic status) living
in NYU housing; and all students living in traditional NYU housing , irrespective of academic status. 95 Flex is the minimum meal plan
for all upper class students living in Othmer Hall apartments.

Dining Dollars can be used at all on-campus dining locations and have a dollar-for-dollar value. Students use Dining Dollars for items
like coffee, soft drinks, water, snacks, and sundries.
