I. Introduction

Thank you for using Weyuan WYLED650 series Ceiling LED Surgical Light. In order to give
full play to the functions of Ceiling LED Surgical Light and correctly master the operation
and repair & maintenance, please read the Manual carefully before installation and use so
that you can use the lamp more proficiently.
Application scope of Ceiling LED Surgical Light: Suitable for operation illumination in
medical institutes.

Standard installation height: 2.7m-3.2m.

Classification of products: I- type equipment without application parts. It does not resist liquid
inlet. It cannot be used under the condition that inflammable anesthetizing gas that mixes with
air or oxygen or nitrous oxide.
Working system: continuous operation.
Fixed permanent installation equipment. Refer to the Manual’ s requirements for the
disinfection method. The product is the shadowless operation lamp without preventing from
failures.

Under the rated working current, LED’s lifespan test is accumulated to LED 20,000 hours.
According to the estimation method recommended by ASSIST, LED lifespan is 30,000 hours.

1.2 Waste handling

The alternate items should be correctly handled according to relevant national environmental
protection requirements.
-Already damaged electronic parts.

The equipment and accessories are disinfected according to relevant Health and Disinfection Laws.

II. Working principle

The light path of W Y LED650 series ceiling shadowless operation lamps forms the light cylinder
by light beam of multi- path LED point-light source through the optical lens.

The rotation balance system of the operating lamp is to satisfy different operations’ different
needs so that operating illumination is at the best angle. The working principle of the rotation
system is making use of the rotation of the rotating arm so that the operating lamp can rotate by
3 60° and is positioned at the desired place. At the same time, the damping can be adjusted so
that the lamp can be moved easily and positioned stably and reliably. The working balance of
the balance system is pre- compressing the compression spring and generating the force for the
balance of lamp holder through the four-bar linkage so that the lamp holder can move flexibly
and easily. In addition, the series of operating lamp can adjust the illumination and color
temperature of light. There are ten gears of illumination adjustment and five gears of color
temperature adjustment.

The installation height of LED ceiling surgical light is 2.9~3.2m. The ideal height is 3m. The
range of upward & downward movement of the light holder is 1. 1m.

III. Technical characteristics

 Adopted the latest high-power LED cold light source greatly improves the service life of the
operating light.
 Adopt innovative automatic shadow management technology to create a clear and
homogeneous light field, even when it’s obstructed by up to 80%, such as those shadow
caused by the surgeon’s head or instrument, are compensated for automatically.
 LCD touch screen control panel, quick switchover between the different illumination modes,
color temperature modes, increase the doctors and nurses’ efficiency.

 Three grade Auto focusing for changing the lighting field diameter.
 One key to endoscopy model, background illumination for minimally invasive interventions.
 Microcomputer digital control, with ten levels of illumination and five levels of color
temperature adjustment. Under the same illuminance, five levels of color temperature can be
selected (or under the same color temperature, ten levels of illuminance can be selected), and
also it has a memory function. It can work stably in a wide voltage range.
 Synchronized control or separately control of light domes is available. (Optional function)
 Wall mount control panel is available. (optional function)
 Within the range of AC 220V, the lamp head voltage variation range is ±1%, and it has strong
anti-interference ability.
 Set up a soft start device to effectively prolong the service life of the LED.
 Detachable handle jacket high temperature sterilization cooking method: not more than
 140 °C 0.22MPa not less than ten minutes (handle cannot be pressed), after completion of 75%
alcohol wipe disinfection.
 Equipped with lightweight balance arm suspension system, the six groups of joints are free to
rotate, and the movement is light and the positioning is stable. The 360° rotation design can
meet the height and angle requirements of shadowless lights during surgery.

IV. Installation and debugging

The product is a permanently installed equipment, which is installed by specific technical person.

4.1 Basic requirements

According to the structural characteristics of the operating room, the user can carry out the foundation
construction according to Figure 1, Figure 2, and Figure 3. See Figure 4 for the dimensions. The
foundation must bear higher than 500Kg loads. The height of the fixed frame in the operation room is
290 ~ 320cm. When the height of the fixed frame in the operation room is larger than 330cm, the
spreading frame should be rigid enough to prevent the lamp from shaking.

4.2 Installation of base plate and base

First install the installation and fixing plate (round bottom plate) provided by our
company. It must be installed firmly. Use 12 M12 nuts to fix the base on the mounting plate.
Correct the verticalness and the horizontal between the axial line of the base to ensure the sound
operation of the shadowless operating lamp. Then fasten the 12 M12 nuts.

4.3 Installation of the rotation arm

Insert the rotating body and wires into the base together, and screw in six M8 screws

4.4 Connector connection

4.5 Installation of balance arm

Insert the balance arm into the rotating arm and put it into the retaining ring (note: the retaining ring
must be completely inserted into the slot, otherwise the lamp head may fall off). Then insert the male
insert into the rotating body and fix it with screws. Finally put the cover on.

4.6 Shade Installation

4.7 Installation of lamp head

Align the balance elbow joint on the lamp head with the balance body hole (1), insert the stopper (2)
immediately, move the sliding sleeve down to the position (3), and tighten the screws.

4.8 Adjustment of balance arm

Upward direction: move the lamp holder upward after loosening it; limitation direction: maintain
the balance arm at the horizontal state; fastening direction: adjust it when the upward lifting force of the
lamp holder is too large; loosening direction: adjust it when the downward pulling force of the lamp
holder is too large (the above operations should be monitored by specific personnel).

4.9 Disassembling and installation of center sterilize handle
Dismantle the sterilize handle: press the button with the thumb and take off the sterilize handle. Insert the
srilize handle: insert the sterilize handle into the handle directly.

4.10 Installation the base

Unscrew the screws at the back of the base cover (6) and remove the base cover.
Take an M12 bolt (22) and insert it with a washer into the hole of the square tube, then secure it to the
base plate (2). Finally, put the base cover back in place.
Install the four casters (1) on both ends of the square tube, with the brakes installed on the rear side.

4.11 Installation the downward support tube

Insert the lower vertical pipe (7) through the hole in the base cover (6) and fit it onto the base plate column.
Lift the base cover, align the hole positions of the lower vertical pipe, and secure it with screws (4).
Connect the brown wire (3) coming from the lower vertical pipe to the V+ terminal of the power switch,
and connect the blue wire to the V- terminal.
After placing down the base cover, tighten the screws at the back.
Take out the upper vertical pipe (10) and connect the wire (9) with the wire from the lower vertical pipe.
Then, insert the upper vertical pipe and secure it with screws (8).

4.12 Installation of balance arm

Take out the balancing arm (16) and connect the wire (15) with the wire from the upper vertical pipe.
Insert the balancing arm into the hole of the upper vertical pipe, put on the decorative cover (11), align it,
and secure it with screws (13, 14).

4.13 Installation of Lamp head

Take out the lamp head (21) and connect its wire with the wire from the balancing arm. Insert the curved
tube of the lamp head onto the balancing tube, put on the decorative cover (18), align it, and secure it with
screws (19, 20).
After installation, remove the brake block (17) from the balancing arm.
Finally, install the plastic decorative cover (12).

4.14 button instruction

A) When the power is turned on, the touch screen control panel will be on; press the key

to switch on the lighting. Long press 3 seconds to switch off the lighting.

4.15 Operation

Press the key to switch on the surgical light, move the lamp holder to the best position ( 1m
from the illumination area is the optimal).

& control the weakness and enhancement of the illuminance, have 10 grade
adjustment.

& controls the weakness and enhancement of color temperature, have 10 grade
adjustment.

& controls the increase and decrease of the light field diameter, have 3 grade
adjustment.

is the Ambient lighting mode/ Endoscopy mode.

is auto shading compensation function switch. When the light is intercepted by the surgeons' head or
instruments, the auto shading compensation function will decrease the intensity automatically.

is synchronized control function switch. You can realize the adjustable intensity, color temperature,
light field of the two lamp caps in the same time by control one of the lamp cap.

4.16 Movement of lamp body

The rotation arm can rotate at any angle, and balance arm can rotate 530°. The hand-held
handle can adjust the illumination angle of the lamp holder. The hand-held aseptic handle

enables the upward and downward movement of the lamp holder.

After all the installation completes, specific maintenance personnel should attach specific seals
and fill in the installation code with marking pens. Remember not to seal off it arbitrarily!
Note: Users must install AC220V power double-circuit cutting switch on the wall.
User switch must conform to all regulations in IEC 328 “Electric Appliance Switch” (1972):
Switch must be upward on and downward off or rightward on and leftward off. There must be
“0” and “1” or “ON” and “OFF” symbols on the switch or surrounding the switch. The
creepage distance of the switch should not be less than 4mm. The electricity gap should not be
less than 2.5mm.

VI. Security
1. The installation foundation of the shadowless operating light must bear more than 500Kg load to
prevent the operating lamp from falling.
2. Check the connection of each part of the operating lamp regularly (once every year) to prevent
each part of the operating lamp from falling.
3. 3When installing the wires of the operating lamp, the output and lead-out wires must be
connected by the same color. DO not make a mistake in connecting (Construction personnel must
possess basic professional knowledge)
4. After the use, cut the grid power. (Cut the grid power through cutting off the double-circuit power
installed on the wall.)

5. The maintenance of the operating light (except for the contents in “repair and maintenance”) must
be carried out by the personnel designated by the company. Otherwise, our company does not
undertake any responsibility for the consequence.
6. The warranty term of PETAL Ceiling LED Surgical Light sold by our company is two years with
“three warranties” services. Refer to the user’s buy-in receipt for the warranty term. Make sure
that the user fills in the feedback sheet and send the copy of invoice to our company within 60
days. Our company implements maintenance warranty and lifelong maintenance.
7. The operating lamp’s lifespan produced by our company is ten years.
8. Our company keeps the product’s remodeling right. Please forgive us that we will not notify you
specifically. If the user needs further technical information, the user can ask our company for
post-sales services.
9. We suggest that the hospital should equip backup power and the symbols that should be used on
power.

VII. Failure exclusion and repair & maintenance

Note:
Cut off the power when exchanging the fuse wire and install another of the same specification!
If it is powered on and some LEDs are not on, ask specific personnel for maintenance.

1. Before use, dismantle the aseptic handle and disinfect it with high temperature or 75% alcohol and
clean the lamp holder with soft cloth that has 75% alcohol.
2. The light plate on the lamp holder should be cleaned with glass cleaning agent. Pay attention that
the handle, aseptic handle and lamp glass plate should not be cleaned with organic solvent.
3. After the completion of use, cut off the power.
4. If the user needs further technical information, get it from Department of Post-sales Services in our
company.
5. Failure analysis and exclusion methods
