MinebeaMitsumi Inc (MinebeaMitsumi), formerly Minebea Co Ltd, is a manufacturer of
precision machinery components and electronic devices. The company’s products include ball
bearings, spherical bearings, rod-end bearings, roller bearings, bushings, mechanical
assemblies, automotive fasteners and aerospace fasteners. It also sells fan motors, brush DC
motors, brushless DC motors, HDD spindle motors and precision motors.

1993 Mar. Controlling interest in manufacturing subsidiary NMB Semiconductor Co., Ltd., is sold to Nippon Steel Corp.
Apr. Taiwan Minebea Electronics Co., Ltd., is absorbed by Hwan Chong Enterprise Co., Ltd.
Aug. Papst-Motoren GmbH & Co. KG of Germany cancels its joint venture agreement. The Company acquires all outstanding
shares in Papst-Minebea-Disc-Motor GmbH, previously jointly owned with Papst-Motoren, and changes the company's
name to Precision Motors Deutsche Minebea GmbH.
Oct. Sales and R&D subsidiary Minebea Trading Pte. Ltd. (the present Minebea Technologies Pte. Ltd.) is established in

1995 Mar. A surface treatment processing manufacturer, MF Industries Co., Ltd.,(the Present Minebea Thai Ltd.) is brought under

Oct. U.K. subsidiary NMB (U.K.) Ltd. establishes a new plant in Inchinnan, Scotland.
1999 Mar. The Company commences evaluation and testing of ball bearings and other components for use in automobles at NMB
Corporation, Technical Center in the United States.

A fidget spinner, which uses a ball bearing with the world's smallest 1.5mm outer diameter, won the GUINNESS
WORLD RECORDS™ title as the world's smallest fidget spinner.
Dec. The fidget spinner "Real Spin Ms'," which was jointly developed by MinebeaMitsumi Inc. and Mitsubishi Precision Co.,

201 Apr. Shiono Precision Co., Ltd., a subsidiary manufacturing aerospace components, changed its name to Minebea Precision

Sept. Precision Motors Deutsche Minebea GmbH, a German subsidiary, acquired Mast Kunststoffe GmbH & Co.KG, which
manufactures precision mold parts, and Mast Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH, which is a management-service trust
company.
Precision Motors Deutsche Minebea GmbH, a German subsidiary, changed its name to MinebeaMitsumi Technology
Center Europe GmbH.
2020's
2020 Mar. Construction of a new building of Akita Business Division in order to strengthen the product
development of the automotive business.
Apr. With the spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, MinebeaMitsumi donated medical items
such as N95 masks and goggles to medical institutions and the governments in Japan and overseas
where we operate our business.
Also, the company started in-house production of masks at Hamamatsu plant and Shanghai plant, for the
purpose of safe operation in the future.
Acquired shares of ABLIC Inc., a manufacturer of analog semiconductors, and made it a subsidiary.
June Acquired additional non-controlling interests of a US subsidiary, C&A TOOL ENGINEERING, INC.,
and made it a wholly owned subsidiary.
As for a project to commemorate the 70th anniversary of MinebeaMitsumi incorporation, the company
donated to a single-parent support organization, considering the circumstances of prolonged coronavirus
pandemic nationwide.
Aug. Semiconductor design and development bases are established in Ota city, Gunma and Gifu city, Gifu.
Oct. Our subsidiary, MITSUMI ELECTRIC Co., Ltd., acquired semiconductor/MEMS fabrication plant and
its MEMS product development function from OMRON Corporation and established MMI
SEMICONDUCTOR Co., Ltd.
2022 Feb. Centralized the research and development departments and sales bases of Osaka near Shin-Osaka
station. Established the new Osaka Research and Development Center (ORDC.) Centralized the sales
teams of MinebeaMitsumi, U-Shin, U-Shin Showa, and ABLIC to the same location.
Apr. The listing of the Company's stock changed from the 1st section to the Prime Market after the Tokyo
Stock Exchange's market restructuring.
May Construction of the Technology Center of Karuizawa Plant in order to strengthen development of

Sept. Through a tender offer, Honda Tsushin Kogyo Co., Ltd., which manufactures and sells connectors,

2023 Jan. Acquired shares of Honda Lock Mfg. Co., Ltd., which manufactures and sells automobile parts and
residential keyless system, and made it a subsidiary (Minebea AccessSolutions Inc.).
Mar. Relocated Tokyo Headquarters and some Sales bases to Tokyo X Tech Garden in Minato Ward, Tokyo
(Shiodome).
Apr. Our subsidiary, ABLIC Inc. acquired shares of Samurai Semiconductor Corporation, which conducts
design of semiconductor, and made it a subsidiary.
Sept. Opened the X TECH MUSEUM in Tokyo X Tech Garden, where visitors can experience manufacturing
technology.
Dec. Our subsidiary, NMB-Minebea UK Ltd. acquired shares of RO-RA Aviation Systems GmbH, which
manufactures and sells precision machined components, and made it a subsidiary.
2024 May Acquired shares of Hitachi Power Semiconductor Device, Ltd., which manufactures and sells
semiconductors, and made it a subsidiary (Minebea Power Semiconductor Device Inc.).

Mitsumi Philippines Inc. (Bataan Factory) is a manufacturer of electronic components
and device products that considers accident prevention is to be a top priority for all employees.
This encompasses the safety and well-being of our employees, subcontractors, visitors, and
valued customers, as well as the avoidance of wasteful, inefficient operations and property and
equipment damage. This company will engage in all parts of business activity with
collaboration and willingness of occupational health and safety of employees.
HEALTH AND SAFETY TARGET
"ZERO (0) ACCIDENT" In order to achieve this goal Mitsumi Philippines Inc. (Bataan
Factory) has the following key objectives:
1. Complying with all applicable statutory/ regulatory obligations, legal and safety requirements
and customer's requirements by exerting effort to the upliftment of maintained standard.
3. Establish health and safety objectives and targets that are technically and economically
achievable, implemented, monitor, and regularly reviewed.
4. To maintain a safe and healthy working environment inside the company by adhering to
exceptional housekeeping and safe work standards.
5. To ensure that all employees understands their responsibilities for health and safety, by
providing adequate education and training, and effective communication between
management and employees is developed.
6. Maintaining the health and safety of our employees, subcontractors, visitors, and valued
customers by using the Hazard identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC)
approach to eliminate or reduce OHS hazards connected with the company's activities.

COMPANY PRODUCTS
The company’s products include ball bearings, spherical bearings, rod-end bearings,
roller bearings, bushings, mechanical assemblies, automotive fasteners and aerospace fasteners.
It also sells fan motors, brush DC motors, brushless DC motors, HDD spindle motors and
precision motors.
Provides lighting devices, measuring components and rotary components. Its lighting
devices include light emitting diode (LED) backlights for liquid crystal displays (LCDs),
backlight inverters, LED drivers, spindle motors for hard disk drives (HDDs), and stepping
motors. The measuring components product portfolio includes such as strain gauges, load cells
and digital indicators; and rotary components such as brushless DC motors, brush DC motors,
fan motors, and other types of motors. The rotary components comprise blowers, hybrid type
testing motors, HDD spindle motors, polygon mirror scanner motors, power brushless motors,
high speed PM stepping motors, rotation angle sensors and fan units.
