precision machinery components and electronic devices. The company’s products include ball
bearings, spherical bearings, rod-end bearings, roller bearings, bushings, mechanical
assemblies, automotive fasteners and aerospace fasteners. It also sells fan motors, brush DC
motors, brushless DC motors, HDD spindle motors and precision motors.

MinebeaMitsumi Inc (MinebeaMitsumi) is a manufacturer of miniature ball bearings and high-

precision components. It serves various markets including personal computers and peripheral
equipment, construction machinery, household electrical appliances, telecommunication
equipment, automotive and aerospace markets. As of August 2023, it operated 125 production
and R&D bases, and 101 sales offices in 28 countries including Japan, China, Singapore,
Malaysia, the US, Thailand, Cambodia, Germany, the Philippines, Czech Republic, the UK and
Others. Minebea Mitsumi classifies its business operations into five segments: Electronic
Devices and Components; Machined Components; Mitsumi Business, U-Shin Business and
Other. In FY2023, the company incurred a capital expenditure of JPY136,717 million which
grew 95% YoY.
MinebeaMitsumi focuses on research and development to create new products which solve
societal issues. It condusts research on the development of motors for application in robotics-
related products. Moreover, the company also intends to develop control-related software and
hardware. Through these projects the company focuses on Io’T and the development of
complex, high-value-added solutions. The company owns R&D centers at Karuizawa,
Hamamatsu, Fujisawa, Matsuida, and Yonago Plants in Japan, and in the US, Thailand, and
China. In FY2023, the company spent JPY38,754 million on its R&D, which as a percentage of
revenue, stood at 2.9%.
Provides lighting devices, measuring components and rotary components. Its lighting devices
include light emitting diode (LED) backlights for liquid crystal displays (LCDs), backlight
inverters, LED drivers, spindle motors for hard disk drives (HDDs), and stepping motors. The
measuring components product portfolio includes such as strain gauges, load cells and digital
indicators; and rotary components such as brushless DC motors, brush DC motors, fan motors,
and other types of motors. The rotary components comprise blowers, hybrid type testing
motors, HDD spindle motors, polygon mirror scanner motors, power brushless motors, high
speed PM stepping motors, rotation angle sensors and fan units.



MITSUMI ELECTRIC CO., LTD.

Our first lighting products showroom "SALIOT Showroom" opened in Bangkok, Thailand.

May German subsidiary, Sartorius Mechatronics T&H GmbH, acquired all shares of A à Pesage S.A.S. and Centre Pesage
S.A.S., which are French manufacturing and sales company for industrial measuring instruments.

Sept. Concluded a business and capital alliance agreement with Iwasaki Electric Co., Ltd. and Minebea Co., Ltd. became the

"SALIOT Showroom" opened in Mita, Minato-ku, Tokyo exhibiting a new type of LED lighting product "SALIOT".

Nov. NMB Minebea S.a.r.l., the French subsidiary of MinebeaMitsumi, acquired all shares of Mach Aero Bretigny
Rectification SAS, which is engaged in sales and manufacture of precision machined components for aircraft. In
addition, NMB Minebea S.a.r.l and NMB- Minebea UK Ltd. jointly acquired all shares of Mach Aero Components
Private Ltd.

A fidget spinner, which uses a ball bearing with the world's smallest 1.5mm outer diameter, won the GUINNESS
WORLD RECORDS™ title as the world's smallest fidget spinner.

Dec. The fidget spinner "Real Spin Ms'," which was jointly developed by MinebeaMitsumi Inc. and Mitsubishi Precision Co.,
Ltd., won the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title as the longest-duration spinning fidget spinner on one finger.

201 June Kosice plant in Slovakia started production of automotive motors.

Dec. China Technical Center (MinebeaMitsumi Technical Service (Suzhou) Ltd.) opened as a R&D base specializing in
automotive components in Suzhou (China).

201 Apr. Shiono Precision Co., Ltd., a subsidiary manufacturing aerospace components, changed its name to Minebea Precision

MinebeaMitsumi Inc. integrated the business of U-Shin Ltd. by converting it into a consolidated subsidiary through a

Sept. Precision Motors Deutsche Minebea GmbH, a German subsidiary, acquired Mast Kunststoffe GmbH & Co.KG, which
manufactures precision mold parts, and Mast Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH, which is a management-service trust
company.

Precision Motors Deutsche Minebea GmbH, a German subsidiary, changed its name to MinebeaMitsumi Technology
Center Europe GmbH.

2020 Mar. Construction of a new building of Akita Business Division in order to strengthen the product
development of the automotive business.

Apr. With the spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, MinebeaMitsumi donated medical items
such as N95 masks and goggles to medical institutions and the governments in Japan and overseas
where we operate our business.
Also, the company started in-house production of masks at Hamamatsu plant and Shanghai plant, for the
purpose of safe operation in the future.

Acquired shares of ABLIC Inc., a manufacturer of analog semiconductors, and made it a subsidiary.

June Acquired additional non-controlling interests of a US subsidiary, C&A TOOL ENGINEERING, INC.,
and made it a wholly owned subsidiary.

Nov. Joined the Japan Face Mask Industry Association

Opened the MinebeaMitsumi Official Online Shop in Japan

2021 June Delisted from the first section of the Nagoya Stock Exchange.

July MinebeaMitsumi Inc. celebrated the 70th Anniversary.

As for a project to commemorate the 70th anniversary of MinebeaMitsumi incorporation, the company
donated to a single-parent support organization, considering the circumstances of prolonged coronavirus
pandemic nationwide.

Aug. Semiconductor design and development bases are established in Ota city, Gunma and Gifu city, Gifu.

Oct. Our subsidiary, MITSUMI ELECTRIC Co., Ltd., acquired semiconductor/MEMS fabrication plant and
its MEMS product development function from OMRON Corporation and established MMI
SEMICONDUCTOR Co., Ltd.

2022 Feb. Centralized the research and development departments and sales bases of Osaka near Shin-Osaka
station. Established the new Osaka Research and Development Center (ORDC.) Centralized the sales
teams of MinebeaMitsumi, U-Shin, U-Shin Showa, and ABLIC to the same location.

Apr. The listing of the Company's stock changed from the 1st section to the Prime Market after the Tokyo

Sept. Through a tender offer, Honda Tsushin Kogyo Co., Ltd., which manufactures and sells connectors,

Nov. Our subsidiary, MITSUMI ELECTRIC CO., LTD. acquired shares of SUMIKO TEC CO., LTD., which
manufactures and sells terminals and connectors, from Sumitomo Metal Mining Co., Ltd. and made it a
subsidiary (Minebea Connect Inc.).

2023 Jan. Acquired shares of Honda Lock Mfg. Co., Ltd., which manufactures and sells automobile parts and
residential keyless system, and made it a subsidiary (Minebea AccessSolutions Inc.).

and device products that considers accident prevention is to be a top priority for all employees.
This encompasses the safety and well-being of our employees, subcontractors, visitors, and
valued customers, as well as the avoidance of wasteful, inefficient operations and property and

COMPANY PRODUCTS
The company’s products include ball bearings, spherical bearings, rod-end bearings,
roller bearings, bushings, mechanical assemblies, automotive fasteners and aerospace fasteners.
It also sells fan motors, brush DC motors, brushless DC motors, HDD spindle motors and
precision motors.
Provides lighting devices, measuring components and rotary components. Its lighting
devices include light emitting diode (LED) backlights for liquid crystal displays (LCDs),
backlight inverters, LED drivers, spindle motors for hard disk drives (HDDs), and stepping
motors. The measuring components product portfolio includes such as strain gauges, load cells
and digital indicators; and rotary components such as brushless DC motors, brush DC motors,
fan motors, and other types of motors. The rotary components comprise blowers, hybrid type
testing motors, HDD spindle motors, polygon mirror scanner motors, power brushless motors,
high speed PM stepping motors, rotation angle sensors and fan units.

maintenance of various electronic systems. This hands-on exposure will allow me to seamlessly integrate
