Essays are assessed according to the following criteria: idea; coherence and cohesion;
syntax, spelling and vocabulary.
One of my favorite subjects is English. It allows us to communicate and connect with
people from around the world. Learning English helps us understand different cultures
through literature, films, and music. It improves our reading and writing skills, which are
essential for expressing our thoughts clearly. Additionally, studying English enhances our
vocabulary and grammar, making us more confident speakers. The language itself is
versatile, used in many fields like science, business, and technology. By practicing English,
we open up opportunities for travel, education, and career advancement. Overall, English is
not just a subject; it’s a valuable tool that empowers us to engage with a global community
and share our ideas with others.
