SGE-AC201 ZigBee Split A/C Control
Quick Start Guide
1. Introduction
The SGE-AC201 ZigBee Split A/C (Air Conditioner) Control
converts control commands sent using a ZigBee signal into IR
(Infra-Red) signal to control your AC system. It allows you to
control the system mode, temperature, fan speed, ventilation
and swing of the air conditioner remotely from the mobile app
on your mobile phone.

2.3. IR Transmitters & Display
IR Transmitters
The IR transmitters are used to communicate with the air
conditioner’s IR receiver normally sent by the AC units’ remote
control.

2.4. LED Indicator
The LED status indicator:
LED status What it means
Orange LED solid on The device has joined the ZigBee network.
The device has not joined the ZigBee
Red LED solid on

3. Get started
To get started, you will need:
A SGE-SEG-X3 Smart Gateway
A SGE-AC201 Split A/C Control
The mobile app
Then follow the steps below:
Step 1: Insert the SGE-AC201 Split A/C Control into a power socket
facing your air conditioner that you would like to connect to. See the
diagram below to guide you in selecting a suitable position in the range
of the grey bars. Wait for the LED indicator to turn solid red.
Tip: If the LED indicator is not in solid red then please press and hold
the reset button for about ten seconds until the display shows “rst”
to return it to the factory default settings.

Step 2: Select “Add new devices” in the menu of the app.
Tip: for this step, you could press the “Z” button of the gateway for
two seconds until the LED indicator turns blue solid.
Step 3: The SGE-AC201 Split A/C Control will add into the gateway;
the LED indicator will turn orange when pairing is successful. Please
check the App Comfort tab to ensure if it has paired with the system.
Step 4: Now pair your SGE-AC201 with your air conditioner by pressing
“Pair”.
